Doug Becker – State Farm Insurance Agent

I was added to my fiancé’s policy’s after we were engaged and before we married. One of which was homeowners insurance coverage for up to 20,000. months later my truck was broke into over a weekend at our home and thousands of dollars in personal tools and belongings were stolen. To start, the agents office did not add me to the policy’s after we had contacted them for the changes. After getting that figured out between the agent and insurance company. I was able to file my claim. That’s when all my problems with State Farm started happening. Apparently, if you use your personal vehicle and personal tools for work at any time in your life they are not going to cover anything without treating you and your family like an obligation. After months of back and forth with the insurance company and the agent and adjusters they wanted me to deal with their lawyers to from what I can tell is to defraud my claim. Bottom line is I was supposed to be covered according to all paperwork I was given and I payed happily and when I needed my insurance company to help like I pay them to, I was treated like a criminal and completely disrespected. This company is nothing more than white collar theives and trusting them with your belongings is a waste of your time and money. FOR YOUR SAKE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
