Specialties

Most people think that by just spending a lot of money on a DSLR camera, it will magically take better photos than their point-and-shoot did. The only problem is the operator is more important than the camera. You can leave your camera on Auto or Program mode and take average photos (and every now and then, a great one), but to truly take consistently great photos, you need to take your camera off program mode! Our workshops teach you how.

History

Established in 2008.

After working as a professional photographer for 15 years and watching the popularity of the DSLRs (Digital SLR) skyrocket, I realized any friend of mine that bought one needed a tutorial. After giving several friends private lessons and getting stopped by strangers on the street during these lessons I realized that those manuals they stick in the box really don’t help much!

I keep my classes fun and interactive. In photography, there are many ways to create YOUR photo and I don’t know the photo that you’re imagining in your head so my job is to show you what everything does and let you use that information to create YOUR own image.

During the workshops I encourage lots of questions and like to know what you like to photograph so that you can leave with a good understanding of how to get that image on your wall that will make your friends say, «you took that?»

«I’ve used them for 2 years now and they’re my first stop for any photo printing. Most pro labs are gone, but there’s a reason why they’re still here.»
