Ideal Dental Solutions

I had a second opinion from a dentist who’s been in Arlington for decades, and no cavities were found. Ideal Dental shamelessly rips off their patients. I guess that’s how they’re able to pay for their shiny office on Clarendon Blvd?

Curious, I visited Ideal Dental Solutions for an initial exam. This is a brand new facility that is located close to the Courthouse metro. Since it is new, the interior was clean and modern looking. Dr. Forbes was very good at explaining the results.
My main complaint is with their billing procedure. Unlike nearly every other practice, you have to pay ALL of the charges up front, even if you have verified insurance. Ideal reimburses you after they receive their payment from the insurance company. With charges running into the hundreds and even thousands, who has the disposable income laying around to wait 1 month for reimbursement?!? It is truly a very disappointing and onerous billing procedure. They give you the option of providing your SS# to their third party payment processor, but in this day and age of frequent digital hacks, this policy is extremely dangerous and just asking for identity theft to happen.
In closing, I would not recommend this practice at all and would look to the myriad other excellent providers in the area.
