Love this place, which is a mom and pop coffee shop /bakery right by the Rossyln metro. It’s also right next to a Panera. I like Panera myself, but I chuckle at the sheeple who go to Panera when this gem is right next door. I’m a coffee lover, and I love this guy’s coffees. I’m not sure where he gets them but they are all tasty, and they are always fresh. They never taste burned. He’s got a wide variety of flavors too, like pecan, hazelnut, and chocolate raspberry, etc. Chocolate raspberry is my favorite, but he only has it on Mondays. It’s a treat. I’m generally on a keto diet, so I never have sugar with my coffee, just a little half and half. The coffee is delicious, even without sugar. In fact, they even taste good black. Generally I’ve found I can only tolerate kona coffee black, but these I can handle. Since I’ve cut way back on sugar, I’ve noticed that your run of the mill coffee shops like Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, and even Caribou have coffees that taste like chemicals if you do drink them black. Not so here. His baked goods are also absolutely deliciously. J — I guess that’s his name — bakes everything every morning. I love the croissants. As I said, I’m generally on a keto diet, but I cheat once in a while. His croissant is worth it, particularly the cream cheese croissant, but it’s heavy so I would recommend splitting it with someone. I brought my Colombian friend here, and he’s used to amazing baked goods. He also loved the croissants. Absolutely go.

Zebra cookie tasted horrible and frozen hot chocolate was thrown away by my 11 year old, tasted like cardboard. Chai latte tasted like syrup poured from a can. Convenient metro location and Bryer’s ice cream, but nothing else redeeming.

When I was in my single digit years I had the luck and pleasure of hanging out with my brothers’ ex-wife’s grandmother. This woman is in the top 3 exceptional women in my life. One reason is her cooking skills. She made cookies and J’s cookies are as close to Grandma A’s as it gets. Good coffee and it’s always a clean set-up. I’ll pick J’s over Panera all day long and 4 times Sunday(I drink lots of coffee, just a fact, not proud.) And FYI I think this place is only open on weekdays because most patrons are weekday commuters.

The title of ‘best cookie’s is laughable. These cookies are overgreased and taste mostly of Crisco and sugar. Save your $ 2 and get a sweet treat from anywhere else!

This little storefront has coffee, tea a ton of Big Mountain drink options and a variety of pastries/bagels. It accepts credit cards if the charge is $ 10 or higher or will sell you a gift card as mentioned by the other reviewers. The owner is pretty friendly. The cookies and pastries aren’t that expensive, but not the cheap either so the day old tray is a pretty good deal. I’d rather go here than Tivoli to be honest. The Tivoli staff aren’t that friendly and their croissants aren’t any better.

There is not a better cookie in the DC Metro area. The pecan chocolate chip cookie and the oatmeal chocolate chip are the best.

I used to bring my coffee everyday, but now I go to this little coffee stand. The coffee is very good(strong and there are different varieties) and I really like the lattes(not too milky and you can taste the espresso). Owned by one man that is very nice. I have not tried the pastries here — they look ok and I would rather get one across the hallway, but the coffee here is excellent. There is a $ 6.50 minimum for credit cards. If you don’t have cash, then you just get a gift receipt for the extra amount you spent.
