HORRIBLESERVICE! Came in earlier today to order and the Asian woman with the short hair who informed me that she was the manager had a horrible attitude. It was absolutely disgusting. After rolling her eyes as we ordering she was asked why she didn’t smile she blatantly stated that she did not like my friend and was not going to answer. Then after she was told how rude she was being she spits out«do you want the order or what?» Keep in mind I was ordering and had said or done absolutely nothing to this lady! At this point I just told her to give me my money back. Needless to say I will never be back. Also must I add I have ordered from here quite a few times and the food is very mediocre. I go here solely because it is so conveniently close to where I live. My 3 sisters and mom have been regular customers and will no longer be back. I recommend Wok Box.

I have a gluten allergy, which makes my food selection very limited at certain restaurants. King Wok has always been one with various safe options, at least until this evening. My USUAL order was both poorly made and for the first time that I’ve ever seen, battered with flour. I’m not sure whether or not this was intentional, but for the numerous times that I’ve eaten here and ordered the same dish, I’ve never faced this problem. Furthermore, if it were a case of changing the way that the dish is made, then they could have updated their menu. Since I had already eaten a piece of the contaminated food, I was already starting to feel sick. Fortunately, I was able to avoid the emergency room with some self care and rest. I explained my situation to the manager, who was not only very unapologetic, but unprofessionally rude about giving me a refund. However, I did receive a refund, which is why I stopped short against taking legal action against this place. Therefore, the moral of my story is, whether or not you have allergies like mine, beware of places like this! The manager is a truly thoughtless woman who appears to be completely careless about customer service, let alone the quality of the food they serve! I don’t expect the place to be gluten free, I just expect an order that I’ve always eaten to remain safe for me to eat, and for the manager to exercise some level of common courtesy to regular customers!

I love this hidden gem. Food is fantastic and very affordable. They are always open rain or shine. Delivery is quick, and every time when I order to pick up time is always accurate when food will be ready. I’m definitely going to miss this place when I move back to Hurst, TX which is about 6 miles away. They won’t be able to deliver to me but I’ll still be able to order to pick up. My favorite item to order their is the Sesame Chicken with fried rice. I also love there orange chicken, fried wontons, and look mein. Also there wonton soup is amazing especially when you are having a tummy ache. Definitely one of my favorite Chinese food in the metroplex. Also I have never had a mess up with any of my orders as well. It is a must try in the Arlington area. Most definitely 1 of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.

We found this place to be pretty good overall. Best Chinese delivery we’ve been able to find in our area. I had the Beef Lo Mein. It was so good! Just the right amount of vegetables and a LOT of noodles! So yummy! I also ordered the Chicken on a Stick. It seemed to be marinated in what I think was Sweet and Sour sauce, and it was also very good! My fiancé had Peppered Beef with Fried Rice. He really enjoyed the peppers and beef, but did find the rice a little dry. I also ordered a cup of Egg Drop soup. I found it to be a little gelatinous for my taste, as it did have globs of goopy broth in it(not the eggs). The egg rolls were a little disappointing, a bit soggy and not much flavor. All in all, they give you a lot of food, and the delivery was fast. We found most of the food quite tasty and would definitely order from here again!

The food at King Wok isn’t too bad. It’s your standard, kinda greasy typical Chinese food. It’s the service that just completely ruined it for me. I’ll explain. I called on a Thursday evening for delivery. After ordering my food and giving the guy on the phone my credit card info, he tells me it’s going to be at least an hour for it to be delivered. I tell him I’ll come pick it up instead. I get there at 5:30 and the lobby has about 4 people waiting. I go up to counter and tell guy I’m there for my order. He asks which order, I tell him, and he told me total and took my card. He rang it up and said it would be about ten minutes till ready. The lobby is clearing and I have been there about 20 minutes now. I’m looking at my bank account info and I see the place has charged me twice! Once from original phone order, and then when I got there. I tell the man what happened and he refunds me one of the charges. After waiting now for almost 30 minutes, I ask where my food is and they were packing up something when THECOOK tells him they’re putting the wrong food in the bag. THEYHADYETTOMAKEITAFTER30MINUTESOFWAITING!!! They rush to make my food after me waiting almost an hour there. Then they try to give me a free small coke for my troubles. F**K THAT! While away for business my coworkers and myself ordered from a local restaurant to deliver to our hotel. We ordered from King Wok and everything we ordered was decent. It wasn’t the best Chinese food but we were satisfied with what we ordered. We ordered chow mein, pepper steak and garlic shrimp. The food was delivered in 40 min and food was hot.

Lesson learned — read reviews first. This might never have happened. A friend and I decided to try King Wok based on a flyer on my door — we split an egg drop soup, she got lemon chicken and I had Moo Goo Gai Pan. Both with fried rice. Crab rangoons, egg rolls. The ONLY good item was the delicious lemon sauce. We actually threw away the chicken part of the dish. It had been pounded paper thin, heavily coated and deep fried. No seasoning, no taste — just grease. The chicken in my dish had been boiled … And dumped into a pot of partially cooked vegetables with a tasteless sauce … We «rescued» the dish by dumping it into a fry pan, added spices and soy sauce … So it was edible. The«fried rice» got thrown away too, and we made some noodles to go with the chicken. Egg Rolls were crunchy grease packs, and joined the rice and chicken. She had brought over some pound cake, which we poured the lemon sauce over. THAT was delicious. Neither my friend nor I will be a repeat customer.

After having the Buffalo wild wings and Cajun style fries both of them were lackluster at best. I specifically asked for the fries to be extra crispy, And they were more limp than Bob Dole without his Viagra. The only color on the fries was the red Cajun seasoning they may have had the fryer but doubtful. The wings weren’t crispy, but the sauce was spot on. They were flavorful and hot simultaneously.

I ate here twice in one week(4⁄1&4⁄22014) the food here is okay spring rolls are smaller than any other place. The shrimp fried rice is not that great I will not ever eat here again as the lady was packing up my food she went from the cash register to packing my food without washing her hands. Not to mention there was a small child there sitting on the counter right next to her. Would not recommend eating here

This is the most disgusting food I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Beef & Broccoli/Sweet & Sour Chicken meal and my husband ordered Chicken Mu Shu. When the food arrived, my husband opened and saw that his food looked like they’d cooked it in gravy. There were supposed to be Woodear Mushrooms in Mu Shu yet theirs didn’t have any, and there were HUGE chunks of onion, water chestnuts, and it just tasted down right awful. My Beef & Broccoli was no better. The sauce on the beef was so goopy and sticky it took my appetite away when trying to eat it when I saw it peel apart. The taste was bad, you’d think their food was rotten. My husband says it tasted like they added corn meal to the sauces to thicken them instead of letting them thicken naturally. When we called to get a trade out of Combination Fried Rice(cheaper) I needed it delivered over since I don’t have a vehicle. The guy wanted to charge me ANOTHER $ 1.00 for the delivery! I had to remind him of the price difference between the meals and I still had to pay $.50 for THEIR bad food mess up! I couldn’t even finish my meal so I lost a total of $ 21.69 to these people in bad food.

So far this is our favorite Chinese delivery place in Arlington. They always get our order correct, they are fast, and the food is consistent. That being said it’s not the greatest Chinese I’ve ever had. Some things have an artificial taste. My favorite thing is the general Tso’s tofu. I’ve tried a couple different things and they have all been alright. I also took David B’s suggestion and tried the Cajun fries. They were pretty spicy. I liked them! I am not big into wings but they seem to have a big selection too. We will continue to order from here because of the great service.

The only place in this area that makes General Tso’s chicken like they do on the east coast.(Dark thick tangy molasses based sauce with a bit of a bite, plus good and garlicky) I’ve ordered from here 3 times. This place has improved considerably in their food quality. The lady who takes the order has always been very nice and sharp with my orders, and very fast with preparing my food. The kitchen is open for anyone to see, and every time I have been in, the kitchen has been spotless, and I used to work in a kitchen, so I mean spotless!

Place used to be Jimmy’s Sesame, new owners, new name, same people own the King Wok in Golden Triangle they told me. Eaten here several times,(close to work) and every time it’s been very good. For take out chinese, it’s better than some of the more expensive, sit down places. Some of the best fried pot stickers I’ve had anywhere, and the four or so chicken dishes I’ve gotten have all been good and different, in other words, it’s not some chinese place that uses the same sauce on everything. The last two owners of Jimmy’s were really average, and really not that good. King Wok is a great replacement.

It is what it is. Cheap Chinese. I decided I want something spicy, so I rolled with the Szechuan Shrimp, extra spicy. Portion was a good size and about what I expected flavorwise. Fried rice was very bland, next time I’ll go with the steamed rice. Egg Roll, well it was hot and fried. What, no fortune cookie? WTF? All in all, not bad. Not great, but for $ 5 and a 2 minute walk from my apartment, I know I’ll be back
