History

Established in 2002.

Leader Bank, N.A. opened in May of 2002 as Massachusetts’s newest community bank. We are dedicated to fostering the continued growth of our surrounding communities through a diverse array of products and services. Our staff of experienced commercial and retail bankers are committed to understanding the financial needs of you and your business. Business Owner

Sushil K. Tuli has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Leader Bank since its formation in 2002. In addition, Mr. Tuli is the Chairman and sole owner of Leader Mortgage Company, which was formed in 1986. Prior to October 2000, he also served as President of Leader Mortgage Company.

In 1999, Mr. Tuli chaired the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association («MMBA»), the largest mortgage banking industry association in New England. Mr. Tuli is currently serving as a member of Fannie Mae’s Regional Advisory Council, a position that he previously held from 1994 to 1996 as well. Recently, he was also appointed as a member of the Massachusetts Home Ownership Advisory Committee by Governor Deval Patrick.

Mr. Tuli was selected as a finalist for the 2003 and 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which is currently in its 23^rd year of recognizing exceptional entrepreneurial achievement and excellence.
