LoweTech was the first place I took my car in Arlington in January 2015 and they completed the job. They are closed all weekend, which caused me to be without a car longer than expected, but that’s understandable and I knew that going in. Just expect it.
I’ve personally only met 2 of the brothers. One, a larger gentleman with a little longer hair, has his good days and bad days it seems. He certainly has some customer service skills. The thinner, somewhat older looking brother (who did the work on my car) acted as if I was a burden by being there.
The price was fair, but when I asked questions about the work to be done the issue with the vehicle was not really explained, and any questions I had were responded to with one two word answers. I don’t feel they did it intentionally, however I left without a full understanding of why the damage had occurred, what could be done to prevent it, or how to tell if any other issues were present.
They seemed honest, and it was affordable. However, I don’t think they have very good human relations skills, and I would have loved to have known what exactly was wrong with my car and how it occurred. Short of being rude myself, I did everything I could to pull it out of them.
Where they are located is loaded with mechanics (just down the street is a much better shop — see my other reviews) so you would think they would try to do something to set themselves apart from the places around d them by offering a more customer friendly experience.

First impressions: clean floors, no tools laying around, Dan, Tim and Tom have a lot of experience and take the time to answer your questions. They don’t make you feel like an idiot and they don’t blow smoke. When it comes to diagnosing a problem, they made sure I knew exactly what they were going to do, why they were doing it and how much it would cost. You can drop off your car at night after hours. I have recommended these guys for years and they have never disappointed me in any repair — or embarrassed me on repairs for the people I recommend. If you got a car problem, this is the place to take your vehicle if you want it done right at a fair price by guys who care.

This shop is owned and run by three brothers (Lowe is their last name). I have never had a bad experience with them and they know all their customers by name. They never try to scam you or jack up prices to make more overhead and they will just flat out tell you like it is!
They do everything except body work and paint. The labor is around $ 80 bucks an hour and they will always tell you how much it will be upfront so you are not surprised when you go to pick up your car. They are also very good about keeping you informed– I got regular updates on my cars progress and they even called me to let me know when they got the part in so I would have a better estimate as to when the car would be ready,

These guys were honest! Took my car to get looked at and they informed me that the part I needed fixed had been recalled. Ended up saving me $ 250. Will be using these guys if I need anything in the future!
