I recently bought a used car and being fairly new to Arlington, didn’t have a mechanic to take my vehicle to. I found them and I now have a new home for my car when it is in need.
After purchasing my car, another local mechanic was very discouraging about my purchase simply because of the make of the car and a perceived difficulty in finding parts. After finding out I needed new tie rods (and being quoted nearly $ 500 by another local shop) I decided to shop around and Metro Champions quoted me less than half of that.
Once the job was done Sam mentioned a couple of other issues, without being pushy. His ease of service and hospitality caused me to go ahead and get the job done that day, and the bill was even cheaper than I expected. I
Also, the receptionist Vicky was extremely kind, and made sure I was satisfied.
When any issues arrive with my vehicle in the future I will return, and I will encourage everyone I know to do the same.

Honest owners that will not try to rip you off or make an extra buck. They tell you exactly what the problem is and sometimes they even suggest that you don’t need to fix it until there really is a problem. Honest assessments and they will explain in detail the diagnosis, your options, and what they recommend. Excellent!

The most important trait for a mechanic shop is first and foremost honesty.
Two years ago I repaired the transmission in my Honda Odyssey, costing me a fortune in the process. Just a couple months ago, my engine light once again came on. First, I took my car back to the mechanic who fixed it initially; he told me that the problem was not due to the areas he fixed. He even refused to turn off the engine light.
After cooling off and making some calls to my friends for a recommendation, I took my van to Metro Champion. I was greeted by Sam who checked my engine light and asked to see the receipt from the previous mechanic. He told me he would turn off my engine light, and as soon as it comes back on for me to return. He also told me that I should be careful not repairing the transmission from just any mechanic.
My engine light has not come on, yet, but now I recognize the difference between a concerned and honest mechanic and one who does not care except when it comes to just making money.
Sam explained in layman terms the problem I had previously with my transmission. He charged me nothing even though he spend almost an hour looking at my car. He was knowledgeable, honest, and cared. He did not charge me for any unnecessary repairs which is my biggest fear when it comes to mechanics.
