First was great, then had a huge upset. I’d call in for general medical advice and every single time I was told to schedule an appointment. I’d ask if that was really necessary and they’d say yes and schedule me less than 24 hours from the appointment. Sure enough, my daughter would be fine by next day so I’d call to cancel. Twice I called and cancelled before the appointment time, third time I couldn’t cancel before hand. The only option you have when you call is an «emergency» line(as the voicemail says). There’s no way to leave messages. I got a letter a few months ago stating my daughter was dropped from their office for too many«no show» appointments. I was LIVID. I called and they informed me it was due to me cancelling less than 24 hours from the appointment. Uh… you scheduled it less than 24 hours before! I had no way to cancel 24 hours in advance and bringing her in was YOUR idea! I got her switched to another doctor and I asked about the general advice thing. Such as «is this normal?» They were appalled that Kids Doc wouldn’t offer even the most general of advice. I have not taken my daughter to the doctor in quite a while unless she was genuinely sick because her new doctor actually is willing to talk on the phone. Kids Doc I guess because they get paid big bucks from insurance companies is all«come in come in come in!» blech.

My daughter has seen Dr. Moayyad since she was born in 2008. Very nice staff, very helpful & will answer all my questions even if it requires a call back. I would recommend Kids Doc to just about anyone
