Because of the limited options for a meal, I decided to give this place a second chance. Bad decision. I ordered the BLT. The bacon was dry, burned, and tasteless. The fried green tomato was really greasy and the arugula was minimal. I will never eat here again, even if it’s the only option available.

Just tried to charge me $ 5.50 for a cup of yogurt after staff simply ignored me standing at the register. Man next to me in line is trying to cancel his sandwich order because it’s taken so long he might miss his flight. Do yourself a favor and chew your nails instead of eating here.

Horrible, horrible service. I’ve been here a few times for a quick bite before a flight and it’s never been anything impressive, but it’s the only restaurant near gates 10 – 14 so what’s a girl gonna do. Anyway, I grabbed breakfast today for myself and my mom — 2 bacon egg and cheese croissants and 1 small coffee. The total seemed a bit higher than what it should be, but I thought I’ll just check the itemized receipt. Oh, nope — never got one. I did the math again in my head and it came out to $ 4 more than it should have been. I let the cashier know and she quoted $ 2 more per sandwich than what the menu reads. I let her know and she said that the price on the menu is incorrect. Ummm, What? Fix the menu then! Don’t just charge whatever you feel like charging and tell me the menu is wrong. Management really needs to step in here. Steer clear of this place — the food isn’t good anyway.

I have been here several times now and the service typically it’s terrible. Do not be in a hurry and if they don’t bring everything to the table together, be prepared to wait a while. Food is OK but feels like it was pulled out of the freezer to reheat. Options are limited at that end of the DCA airport. Out of the three or four waitresses, one of them seems to do well.

They serve breakfast but their drip coffee and espresso machines were broke so no coffee. Really?

Recently my wife and I were traveling via the regan international airport and were a little hungry. So we unfortunately stopped at this place and ordered she crab soup. My wife took one spoonful and pushed it away. I asked her what’s the matter and she replied just taste it. Warm not hot seafood flavored piss water is a kind discription. Two soups and 2 drinks blew threw $ 25 easily. All that I was hopping for was not to vomit!

Never even thought to check Unilocal first. Stuck here now. Service was brusque, burger was rubbery and… Maybe steamed instead of grilleg? Paid $ 2 more for the house salad instead of fries and got a handful of icebergs lettuce. Wish I went nearly anywhere else

10 minutes to get a bagel after ordering and they couldn’t even spread the cream cheese. 2 stars because I did actually get a bagel without missing my flight.

When I saw the menu I told myself«Don’t go here, you’re just going to get an overpriced reheated chicken sandwich and the same fries they served at your high school cafeteria.» I was right.

Do yourself a favor and retrace your steps to gates 5 – 9, which you just passed through, and go to McDonald’s. That Big Mac will taste mighty fine compared to anything on offer in this dive!

There are no other options in this part of the airport. Food may keep you from dying of starvation. Thinking they should leave flare guns at tables to get attention of waitstaff. When I finished and left, felt like I had escaped a hostage situation.

Absolutely terrible, even for airport food. Ordered an omelet that came out stiff, rubbery, and flavorless. Coffee was watery. First time I’ve ever sent food back and left in my life — worked as a server for years and swore I’d never do it. At least they didn’t charge me for the omelet.

Our flight was delayed as usual and the new Grille District was packed so we made our way here for a drink. All the tables and seats at the bar were taken so we ended up getting drinks and standing in the walkway between the seating area and terminals for a while. It took a while before anyone got up to leave. Overall, not a bad place to wait for boarding but still crowded on Thursday evenings.

Slow service. Servers just standing and chatting with each other while food piled up at the pass. I had to flag my server to get my food from the pass. By that time I got cold fries with my burger. Decent food but where’s the manager? The kitchen staff hustled and dishes just stacked up in the pass. No other choices for alcohol and dinner in that terminal so I’ll go back and hope they improve service on my return.

Hate to give bad reviews, but I had to do this one. Since there is nothing else in this terminal, I don’t think this matter either. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and a coke. Not only they put lettuce and tomatoes in my sandwich(WTH?) but I had to add a lot of salt a pepper to make it better. Same with the fries. Same with the coleslaw. Bill was 20.89. Good Lord!!! Really?

Typical airport fast food and bar. Typical airport prices(i.e. not cheap) and quality. There is a separate To Go counter. The best feature, and a very good one, is that there is a LOT of seating. Plus, it’s tucked around a corner near Gates 10&11 so it’s unlikely to fill up. A good place to find a seat and have a drink or snack while waiting for a flight.

The terminal/gate that we were at, there were not that many options in terms of getting food and beverages — it literally seemed as if the National Airport Grill was the only food joint. Since we were both famished, my husband ordered one breakfast sausage/egg/cheese croissant sandwich and a small soda to go. I was impressed at the size of the sandwich as it was pretty monstrous and definitely big enough to share. The sausage itself was turkey(healthier option, I suppose!), and there was a good cheese and scrambled egg ratio with the flaky croissant. It was hot and fresh and it definitely held us over! The soda was cold and refreshing and not anywhere near flat. ;D If you’re feeling hunger pains and need some food on-the-go, check out the National Airport Grill — you may have no other options, but it’s a decent one to get a food fix. +breakfast sausage/egg/cheese croissant

Occupies a big chunk of valuable real estate opposite Gate 12. Food choices in the terminal are pathetic and this vendor doesn’t seem to care much about raising the bar. After sitting awhile at a table I realized staff weren’t checking the area so I moved to sit at the counter. The egg-bacon-cheese croissant looked OK at first glance, but the croissant was stale. The home fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Fortunately the serving was paltry so not very many potatoes were wasted.

Ugh. Stopped there because there was nothing else in the terminal that appeared to serve something resembling breakfast but after I sat down I found it was too late to order breakfast anyway. Opted for the lightest and safest meal I could find which was a caprese salad. Looked pretty sad. Tasted ok. And I still felt a little odd when I got home. How can you mess up a tomato and cheese plate?

I’ve spent too much time here over the years — when I am leaving from DCA I am always on a United flight and this is at the end of the United terminal. It is just OK — I have had somewhat OK breakfast sandwiches and fries in the past. Overpriced, as is typical for an airport bar. Usually when I’m here I just drink beer or red wine. Beer options: I believe it is just Yuengling, Budlight, Miller Lite. Still, when I get to the terminal early I like sitting here and pounding back a few. They have a couple tiny TVs for entertainment, and the restaurant opens up into the hallway. This is very convenient because you most likely can see your gate area from there. So I sit and relax and enjoy a drink and watch the line at my gate and then amble over and get on my plane. So while this place is nothing to write home about, it is convenient.
