Delivery drivers ask for tips when i tell them i don’t have cash and only pay by card. Even gave me the wrong order when i made it clear what I wanted.

I love this place. Some of the best General T’sos around. I also like the crispy beef. The prices are reasonable and their fast. The delivery guys are some of the nicest people in town. If you order on GrubHub they’ve got tons of coupons and you can get free food!

Don’t understand at all why this place has two stars !!! This isn’t a gourmet restaurant it’s a family owned business that has bin there for more than a decade maybe some of you new comers to the area don’t know that and are quick to judge because the appearance doesn’t meet your standards, ANYWAY panda bowl is great I’ve had carry out and delivery and there food is always delicious, when you ask for delivery they arrive in about 15 – 20 minutes which is great and the food is neatly organized and delicious! If your home tired and don’t wanna cook and just want some good carryout with your Netflix this is true spot ! My favorite are there chicken wings, bbq ribs, and general tso!

I gave them 4 stars instead of 3 because for the price, I feel like we got a good deal. The food was okay, nothing spectacular about it, but I have had worse. The portions were HUGE. The delivery time was very fast(20 minutes) and delivery guy was real nice. I will order from them again. Don’t expect gourmet Chinese and you wont be disappointed.

After reading reviews I was pretty terrified for my delivery to arrive. But my General Tsos was good, and no food poisoning was had. Honestly it’s not fine dining Chinese food, but for delivery it gets the job done. Delivery was fast. I also got the General Tsos meal deal, and it ended up being enough for three meals, so it was a great bang for a buck.

I normally do not write reviews, but I must express my disappointment with this restaurant. I ordered a simple meal of shrimp with broccoli. The meal was horrendous. I will never order from Panda bowl again.

Wow I can’t believe this place has such bad reviews! I’ve been ordering from here since I was a kid and I simply love their hot&sour soup it will fix kind of conjestion you have. Though to be honest I order the same 4 things everytime(creature of habit) they never given me anything other than yummy greasy chinese food. Now I’m jewish so I don’t get why all these gentiles are complaining about it because that’s how take out chinese is supposed to be? No this is not a place to get authentic healthy chinese food but this is a place to satify your carry out craving. Better than that I found out that when you place an order to pick up it only take 10 mins and it’s cheaper!

Went in for lunch waited for seven minutes and no one was even at the counter… Finally someone came out front and we ordered. Too bad we didn’t just walk out because this place is in all capital letters disgusting! This is definitely the kind of place you wish you could rate zero stars!!! GROSSDISGUSTING, LOUSY!!! The dumplings are horrible… they’re so doughy and contain very little of a poor quality pork inside, not to mention how GREASY they are. The Fried Rice is tasteless and the steamed broccoli is poorly cooked, nearly raw. The General Tso’s Chicken is all breading VERY little chicken meat inside. The Spring Roll contained a miniscule piece of shrimp inside and was extremely GREASY!!! Not one good thing to say about this place. Again, it should have been a clue that at 12:15 on a Friday there wasn’t a soul in the place and there was no one manning the counter and the phone wasn’t ringing. NEVEREVERAGAIN

I had the faux chicken(made from soy protein). I’ve had this at many places and have been happy with it until Panda. Not fresh at all. The only good thing is that the people working there were very nice.

This place is freakin disgusting. The noodles were soggy and lacked flavor, the crab rangoon was weak and practically empty. Don’t do it to yourself.

«it can’t be that bad. lets go for it.» We were wrong. I feel like I’m joining the chorus of bad reviews here but REALLY, spare yourself. They messed up most of our order and tried to blame us for the mix up, saying that we ordered from the wrong part of the menu. Ordering from the wrong part of the menu is difficult to do when you’re clicking on foodler. They fixed the mistake after ten minutes of prodding and the food was fine. Not good, but fine(meaning you won’t die if you eat it). Mostly, I left this meal frustrated with myself that I contributed to keeping this place open another day.

Ordered one of the safest Chinese dishes you can. Kung Pao Chicken. Mild. Delivery to the hotel not 1 mile from the restaurant. Received everything i ordered. Arrived in 45 minutes.. Meal was lousy. Way too spicy. I eat spicy Thai on a regular basis, so i know hot. This was clearly a hot spicy dish, a strong medium or hot in any other restaurant. The chicken was stringy and the vegetables were way undercooked approaching raw. The cook had clearly rushed the order. No fork/spoon/napkin/chopstick delivered with the meal, which is a clear oversight on any delivery order. Wish I had Unilocal’d before the meal instead of after the meal. Avoid this place, like, well, bad chinese food!

We ordered delivery last night. We wanted to give a neighborhood restaurant some business and called Panda Bowl on Columbia Pike. After taking our order and credit card information, the woman on the phone said, «Okay» and hung up. No estimated time of delivery, thank you or goodbye. Delivery was fast and the delivery guy friendly. The shrimp in the shrimp and pork egg foo young was rubbery and the pork was dry. The gravy was watery and flavorless.(Leftovers are being thrown out tonight.) The steamed pork dumplings were edible but I broke either my filling or crown on a piece of incredibly hard pig-cartilage or something in the dumpling. Yes, there was something rock-hard in the steamed pork dumpling. I am now scheduled for a dentist visit. The whole meal was so very — VERY — disgusting. I can’t recommend it and will never try a new place without checking with Unilocal first. GAG.

This place is great. I’ve ordered food from here every Friday for the last 6 months. Prompt delivery, delicious lo mien, cheap. What more can you ask for from a Chinese place?

The problem with Panda Bowl is that anything your order seems a bit off. I ordered lo mein, chicken wings with mambo sauce, orange chicken. the lo mein looked like regular lo mein but it had a strange smell to it that never smelled come from lomein so i didn’t eat that. 2 of the 5 chicken wings looks extra sketchy like they gave me the chicken wings from the runt of the litter. Luckily the wings were white meat. The Mambo sauce was terrible it was dark red and tasted like barbecue sauce with actual mambo sauce mixed together. for orange chicken had mostly breading and I had to pay extra for white meat and still had white meat yet the meat was darkly colored. Didn’t even dare to eat that. the service was good and the out side of the building looks cute with the multicolored tiles but inside it is small and dinky.

The egg drop soup was bland and no ‘crunchy things’ were given to mix into the soup. The quality of the meats(we got both chicken and beef) was mediocre and the sauce for the beef with broccoli was particularly unpleasant. We opted for free crab rangoons(one of the choices when you spend $ 15+) and there was so little filling in them that there might as well have been none at all. The only plus side was that the online ordering system was clear and convenient to use and the food was delivered in a timely manner.

Oh dear, this was pretty awful. I would give it 1.5 stars if I could, but didn’t want to put it in the one star range, which is for the rare HORROROFHORRORS experience. This wasn’t absolutely horrible, but there was nothing good about it. First off, the egg drop soup was glowing bright orange like some neon dye had been mixed in. Boyfriend thought it tasted bland too. I only had one bite, kind of ugh. He hated his szechuan beef. I didn’t mind the shrimp fried rice, but boyfriend thought it was bland. The best part was the white rice, which was just normal white rice. Also, we had ordered free lo mein but never received it(maybe for the best?) and they only gave one fortune cookie! That was weird because they gave 2 bags of «dipping noodles» for the radioactive soup, so you would think they would put 2 fortune cookies too. Lame. The one positive is that you can order on an online form, which is pretty convenient. Nevertheless, I will not be ordering from here again. Yipes!

Oh boy. I feel terrible, but the people were so nice. The food was just awful though. Pork Fried rice was extremely greasy, and the egg drop soup was red. What is that about?

What sticks with me most about this place is that the guy on the phone gave us some BS about the coupon for free crab wontons only being honored if we paid in cash. Who does that? I got the kung-pao chicken which was slightly less than average and not fresh tasting. The delivery was well within the promised time frame and the guy who delivered was friendly and was actually able to find our place. I’m convinced there are better places to get Chinese delivery in Arlington and I plan on seeking them out before I try this place again. Oh, and one last thing — if two people are ordering, is it too much to ask to send TWO fortune cookies? Just saying…

Eff this place. Eff it in its face! I was staying at a hotel in Crystal City and am pretty unfamiliar with this part of the area. I arrived on a Sunday evening, so most things were about to close by the time I was settled into my room. I saw on a food delivery site that Panda Bowl was open and delivers to the area for a low $ 1.50 delivery fee. I was down. Since I spent $ 15+, I was given some freebie options. I opted for the two free spring rolls. The delivery guy called when he was in the lobby, so I went down to pick up my food. He seemed annoyed, and usually when I order through said delivery site, I have to sign a receipt. I asked if I had to sign anything, he shook his head and mumbled something as he walked off. Whatevs. I was starving and hadn’t eaten anything all day. My hungry tummy was distracting me, so I was ready to dropkick babies for food if I had to. Spring rolls = good. Only thing that sucked is that there was no sauce for dipping. Ma Po tofu = effin’ sucked — I noticed the sauce was congealing when I opened my order. Either that or they didn’t melt the sauce fully after removing it from a can. The vegetables are clearly from a can of Veg-All. Tofu with hot black bean sauce = bummer. I couldn’t tell much difference between this and the ma po tofu — except I saw a few smatterings of black beans in it. Neither were spicy/hot, both sauces were runny, so I was left disappointed. Spend your money on something else.
