If you can catch this pupusa truck open, you must stop. I don’t care if you just finished eating or are on your way to go eat, you need to stop. The pupusas are perfectly cooked, with a nice char and that perfectly melted cheese, and a tasty curtido. I also suggest getting the spicy beef taco. The beef is spicy, but not overly so, and tender. Expect to wait about 15 minutes. Staff is friendly and the truck is cash only.

AMAZINGFOOD! Omg real authentic hispanic food! Its worth going here. The only down side is that they don’t accept Credit cards but other than that it’s convenient, good food you wont be sorry! Located on columbia pike and four mile run dr.

The Carne asada was amazing as well as the house made spicy sauce! They were parked in a parking lot right off the W&OD trail so it was really convenient to pull over our bikes.

Delicious and cheap. The tacos are stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat, but the pupusas are the real treasure. For a buck fifty, these little gems are a steal. They have the BEST atol de elote! Note: Some of the larger menu items are only available on specific days.

I finally made it over to this taco truck over the weekend. For $ 8 I got 2 beef tacos and 2 cheese pupusas. Everything was pretty good! Tacos were pretty similar to what you get at El Charrito Caminante and El Chilango. I agree with another poster that the beef was a little chewy. The pupusas are pretty similar to the ones at El Charito Caminante but the cabbage isn’t quite as good. The woman(I assume it was Diana) wasn’t particularly friendly of talkative. Overall, it was a good value for the money.

I go often to this place as it’s about two blocks from my house, I think we are the only non-Latino’s who go on a regular basis. The price is well worth it, we went yesterday got 5 pupusas and I tried the Taco de Lengue, for $ 10. I was surprised how much I liked the legua, I would get it again. My wife likes the cheese pupusa and I like the pork one, I’ve tried the carne tacos, good, and the carne asada, pretty nice, but the meat can be a little chewy. Friendly service, and I love having them near my neighborhood. I hope to try everything on the menu within a month.

Good tacos, pupusas were OK, service was friendly, limited english. It’s Cash Only, and Tacos were around $ 2.50. The hours are kinda crazy, they seem to come and go irregularly so if you do see them open(usually by N Henderson and George Mason) you might want to stop in.

I went too! I went too! Been curious for ages and glad I finally went. I’m definitely guilty of the«stuff white people like» characteristic of enjoying places where there are no other white folk. It makes us feel like we found something special and«really authentic». I don’t know jack about authentic Salvadoran food, but these were some tasty tacos and pupusas. Really liked the steak in the tacos carnes, based on that, I’ll probably try the carne asada some time. The horchata was delish too — milkier and less gritty than other versions I’ve had. Anyway, there’s something fun about eating food served out of a truck and this is right on my commute home and supa cheep, so I’ll be back!

I’ve been seeing this place for a couple of years and always meant to try it. Located in a white delivery truck that usually parks on Henderson between N Glebe and George Mason in Ballston, Pupseria Diana caters mostly to members of the local Salvadorian community, who ride their tiny bikes here from the surrounding apartments. Unsurprisingly, prices are low: $ 2.50 for a taco and $ 1.50 for pupusas and delicious horchata. They also have a few more pricey options like carne asada for $ 8. There also appears to be a daily special. The day i went it was«Gallina Guisada» for $ 7. More surprising was the quality. The tacos carne were great(I didn’t have the balls to try the lengua), as were the cheese pupusas. The meat pupusa was a little disappointing because the pork was pureed into a mush rather than pulled. It just lacked texture. To put into perspective, I would say that Diana wasn’t quite as good as El Charrito, but only because of the somewhat limited menu. Those«in the know» appear to call their orders in ahead of time, as several people came and went with bags of goodies while we waited. Even so, the wait was only about 10 minutes. The staff didn’t speak a ton of english which would probably make phone ordering difficult for me, but they were very friendly and seemed glad to help us. CASHONLY!
