Quiktrip

We had some items stolen out of our boat while pumping gas here this past weekend (27-​Sep-​2015). Went in this morning (28-​Sep-​2015) to request some help with video surveillance to try to catch the person. The manager on duty claimed they do not have videos that monitor the fuel pumps. All the while they have a big (ironic) sign that reads «SAFE PLACE». Not that safe apparently… What kind of gas station doesn’t have cameras monitoring their pumps? Especially with all the crime at gas stations these days. I asked the manager what they do if someone tries to steal gas or something. She said «That doesn’t happen…» Great job QT of South Arlington. I’m glad you believe that crime ceases to exist at your store. :/​
I will (maybe) give them the benefit of the doubt that they just don’t release video footage to customers due to privacy reasons? No worries. We’ll let Arlington PD take it from here…
This isn’t the first time we’ve had issues at this QT either. A few months back my husband and I (well over the age of 21) went inside to buy beer. My husband didn’t have his wallet, so I grabbed the beers and walked over to check out. My husband never touched the beer at any time (because he didn’t have his wallet). I set them on the counter to check out and the cashier asks for my ID (no biggie, I was buying). Then he asks for my husband’s ID. We told him that he wasn’t buying and the guy said it didn’t matter, he had to check both. Uh, since when? I am sure people go in there to buy beer with their kids all the time. I wonder if they refuse their service too???
Needless to say, after yesterday, I am NEVER be going back there!

Friendly service, clean establishment, fair prices!
They have a large variety of fountain, frozen drinks and prepared foods. They have cubed and crushed ice options. Seemed like a fairly busy location, but we went right after a Rangers game, so that might explain that. All said though, we were in and out in a jiff even with six people choosing snacks and fountain drinks. Buccees it’s not, but in a pinch, it’s baby Buccee comparable.

Quik Trip or QT (if you’re a friend) is a great place to stop if you or your car is in need of some sustenance. Coconut water? Check. Decent bathrooms? Check. These are about all I need to be happy with a gas station.
What makes QT special is the kitchen– you can order a pizza or sandwich and wait a few short minutes for the roll of the dice, as the food is hit or miss. I ordered a personal pizza that was dried out and just not appetizing. Another day, I grabbed a slice of the breakfast pizza that was insanely good. I’m into coffee and I just am not a fan of the coffee here.
This place can get crowded so you might have to wait on a pump.
When you walk on, you’re usually greeted and when you leave you’ll usually get a «See you next time!» Sometimes you’ll get nothing, but hey I’m coming back for the breakfast pizza regardless.

Other than that, the prices are typically low, the service is friendly and efficient. The food is also surprisingly good. Try the Triple Stack sandwich for $ 3.99 and you’ll be a believer.

Great customer service and speed of service. It’s actually a quik trip.
