Scott Berlin, MD is double-board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. Dr. Scott Berlin specializes in accelerated healing options such as minimally invasive bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC), a stem cell-like therapy for back pain, as well as platelet rich plasma therapy (PRP) for joints or soft tissue injuries. In addition to regenerative therapies, Dr. Berlin provides a full spectrum of pain management options such as epidural injections, trigger point injections, nerve blocks, vertebroplasty and spinal cord stimulation. Dr. Berlin was the first practitioner in Dallas to implant a fully implantable dual lead spinal cord stimulator system, which has now become the standard of care.
History
Established in 1993.
Dr. Scott Berlin completed his Bachelor’s of Arts at Case Western Reserve and received his Medical Degree at New York Medical College. Following his MD he trained at Yale University and completed his fellowships in pain management and cardiac anesthesia. Upon moving to Dallas, he opened and developed the pain management clinic at Methodist Medical Center.
Dr. Berlin was the first practitioner in Dallas to implant a dual lead spinal cord stimulator system, which has now become the standard of care. He continues to offer state-of-the-art pain management and regenerative therapy solutions for unusual and difficult painful diseases.
