I selected this place for my birthday lunch. The food is not what we usually expect at local medterainian resturants. Food was dry and tasted old and reworked. I had to pour the oil off of the hummus to eat it. It was not fresh and the portion was small. I will not recommend this resturant to any one!

Had a wonderful time tonight. Service by our waitress while we had our food was tremendous. She was very attentive to us the whole time we had food on the table. Now after we were done eating she didn’t come around as often, but the only thing we really needed was coals for the hookah. It was my first experience with a hookah lounge & this type of food. She explained everything & I was comfortable. The lounge chairs were far from comfortable, after a few hours my back was killing me, but other than that great place!

Love the food from here but this is about the service! I ordered the hummus and meat along with a chicken shawarma sandwich. This occasion I got my order to go. When I got home, realized I did not get any pita bread. I called, they said come back up. No problem. Well when I arrived– the server went above and beyond giving extra bread, hummus, and another chicken shawarma. WOW. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back again!

Shisha Café is aimed squarely at students, and it seems popular with them. It definitely attracts a younger crowd. Good things for students: open late, WiFi friendly, staff super used to splitting checks, good(as far as I can tell) hookah and pretty attentive service. Half orders of food available. Not a rushed environment at all, lots of groups hanging out and people settling in to study. Outdoor area seemed nice. If you aren’t a student, your needs may be better met elsewhere. My baba ghanoush was fine, but I’ve had better, and I didn’t see that my friends hit any menu standouts, either. The environment is, again, a lot like commons areas at universities… very casual. Not my scene, but not a bad scene.

Good hookas, over sized portions and a good price. I wish they had multi hose hookah as my group is large, but they are attempting authentic here. Wi-Fi is decent and they don’t mind you using it for hours while you smoke, although they seriously need to repair the over driven sound system, the speakers sound blown, great when they dance on Friday, bad when your studying on Tuesday. All n all better than Denny’s-IHOP-waffle house late night options. If it would stay open till 3 it be better, kitchen closes at 12 arbitrarily it seems

I love coming here. I’ve been a frequent visitor for a few years now. The workers a very hospitable and friendly, with the exception of one specific girl. The owner and a very sweet older man. I love the atmosphere and the cheese fries are amazing.

Been twice both a miss but it’s a simple casual café. I came once to chill with friends, slow service, dirty tables, had to ask to have ours cleaned. Hookah is good and well priced. Didn’t have anything to eat oh but the tea was delicious! The music they were playing was good as well. The second time I came was to study with some friends. Not a lot of outlets had to move to a spot they had and it was FREEZING in that area. Moved a table side ways when we went to the corner and the waitress said we had to leave a passage(no one sitting in the area remember?) had to throw away my sonic drink,(not a big deal but another addition lol) so just got up and went to Shetilas.

The worst food I’ve tasted thus far! We ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Entrée with Lentil Soup, Small Hummus, Falafel Sandwich with fries, mango tea and iced coffee. The Mediterranean Chicken was bland and oily and the lentil soup was lukewarm and tasted old. The falafel sandwhich was disgusting but at least the fries were good. I ordered sauce on the side to salvage it but that made it worst. Complete and utter disappointment. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy so I’m assuming that’s why the waitress would occasionally forget to check on us. I waived to another waitress but she ignored me. When we paid I informed our waitress about the food so that we wouldn’t have to pay for what we did not like and only paid for the hummus and drinks. I wanted to really like the place because of all of the good reviews but the food there was a total disappointment. Maybe they were off their game that night.

Food quality and food quantity was great. The only problem is the smoke of shisha. If you do not like to expose to smoke do not enter inside. Outdoor is also great to enjoy your food. They need to improve the sitting area of the outdoor. Seats are comfortable at all. They can put a nonsmoking zone inside to attract non smokers.

Came here for hookah late one night. Good service by our waitress! Just knocking one star off because our table was dirty and the furniture is old and tattered. At least where we sat. Otherwise, it’s a great place to chill.

We’ve never been disappointed with the quality of the food. But for whatever reason the service has been somewhat spotty. But not spotty enough not to go there time and time again,

This place is great. I came in by myself, got seated right away, and ordered the chicken schwarma plate, iced mocha coffee, and a strawberry-pineapple hookah. All of them were fabulous.(I wouldn’t get the Greek salad as my side again, though — the lettuce was pale shredded lettuce.) Great place to either chill out or talk animatedly with your buddies. I recommend this place for sure!

We came here for lunch. The place looks a bit dingy and weird. Table was dirty, and holes all over. The waitress was… Super slooooooooow. She was on her cell phone texting the whole time while we tried to order. By the time she finally took the order, the food took forever to come out. The place itself is a bit shabby. It seems to be held together by grime. There is a fly killer bug light thing right above the juices or tea station in the back, you can see it if you sit in the restaurant, which I though was a bit. weird. I am not a fancy foofoo diner at all, in fact I prefer hole in the wall places over foofoo. This place is way below foofoo, the service lacks butt BUT the food is really GOOD! The prices are ok, my gyro was a bit under seasoned. But it could be too that I expect more authentic since I am from Europe and I grew up with authentic Turkish, middle eastern etc. food sources. All in all, it is completely ok to come here to eat, prices are good, food is really good, just don’t expect a fancy clean place and fast good service. The plus here as well as the hookah smoking and in Pantego it is allowed to smoke inside as well. So if you don’t like smoke with your food, this wouldn’t be the place. But try it out, again, food is good

I’m not big on hookah’s(sheesha) so I came here to try the shawarma. It wasn’t the best I’ve had but a few notches above the worst. The meat is not thinly sliced and they dont have the right garlic based sauce that goes along with this. Just a heads up for anyone going here, this place is smoky and they allow people to smoke cigs also inside. I would never go back. Good job on the labneh though.

I’ve been coming to this Hookah Lounge for a few years now. Great spot to just hang out with friends and catch up. Prices are pretty good IMO. The shakes are the bomb and you have to get the large fries. The servers are great! I will admit it is constantly packed on the weekends so service can get a bit slow. But you can’t be mad that business is rolling. And besides the fact that I have to drive through Pantego to get here it’s overall a near perfect spot!

I stopped here for lunch yesterday at the recommendation a non-yelp review somewhere(huge mistake). There were only 2 other customers there at the time. I ordered a lamb kabob and a small greek salad. It took 35 minutes for the greek salad to come out, and 45 minutes for the lamb kabob which was basically 3 small pieces of lamb on a stick; one of them was tough to chew. Several people went into the kitchen with hookahs and one came out with a cigarette. I know it’s a hookah lounge, but that stuff should be kept out of the kitchen. seriously. A return visit is unlikely.

Wow this place was great! Since Narah’s down the street is still under major construction this place has stole the show for me. Food is great, service is better! It’s always popping in here. Good environment and atmosphere from the crowd, usually a big diverse mix of people. Mostly college students and Middle-Easterns cheerfully yelling cool accent-driven conversations. I love it. This is the definitely Narah’s supplement(or replacement for the time being). There are plenty TVs and nice furniture. Although the seats have the typical burnt spots in the seats from coals from the hookah on them, which is amateur IMO. Only real«down-side»(which could also be a plus) I’d say is that this place can get REALLY busy. Which could be a double-edged sword depending how you look at it. Busy can be a positive because it’s fun to meet new and exciting people if you’re a people-person and like big diverse crowds like I do. But busy can also be a bigger negative meaning waiting forever to get served. So again can go either way. Also parking lot kinda sucks since it’s so small. Bring some friends, sit back and enjoy some nice loud crowded fun!
