This place is open, it’s on the south side of the strip mall where Half Price Books is located at Pioneer and Cooper.
This is a classic Taqueria: tacos, gorditas, tortas (sandwiches), burritos and quesadillas if any children or gringos wander in. Homemade Horchata: check.
Homemade salsas and cilantro on the table with your order: check.
I ordered one of each taco (chocken, beef, pork and barbacoa), which came with a side of charro beans with pork/​ham/​jalapenos. Loved the side, would make a great soup on a cold winter day.
Tacos were all good: street tacos with little on them but meat, you add the onions and salsa and eat. Chicken was dry but flavorful, pork was the best, barbacoa and beef were tasty. I’ll be back.
