I found this place shortly after moving to Arlington and fell in love with it. The staff is super nice and the food is perfect, every time. The burgers, wings, and fries are the best I’ve found in this area, bar none(you’d hope so since it’s right in the restaurant’s name). The burgers are very generously sized for the price and they never skimp on the toppings. The fries are thick cut and are cooked perfectly(and large portions to boot) and the wings are fried so they’re just the right amount of crispy and tender, never chewy. As an added bonus, they have an original Street Fighter II arcade cabinet in the restaurant that only costs $.25 to play. What a time to be alive!

This place received decent reviews on Unilocal. They were closed by after basketball game, so I decided to give them a shot. I have passed by this place many times without stopping, and was always curious. The food did not disappoint. Yes I have had better burgers before, and would have rated this place a two and a half, but the fries were very good and kicked up the rating to a3. The bus could have used some work, as I was worried that it may not have held up if I had more ingredients on the burger. It held just barely until I finish the burger.

I ordered the chili cheese burger, and a side of chili fries: this is how a chili burger out to be with so much of the stuff you need a fork and knife to eat it. These are meant to be ½ pound patties, but what you get after cooking might be ¼ pound so my guess is these are good fatty patties. Fries are thick cut but well fried so are not soggy. Fresh made food served here: place your order, find a table, and cool your heels. It’s going to take a while.

I found this spot when I moved into the neighborhood and have been in love ever since. My family ate there at least 2 or 3 times a week. We love their daily and weekly specials. And the wings can give Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings a run for the money. A great family spot and good prices. Staff is always friendly. They’ve added to the menu in the past year but my favorites are their lemon pepper and garlic parmesan wings, burgers, fried fish and the french fries.

I’ve been here quite a few times with my dad as it is right by our little gated community. The food is really good but the service is lacking at times. The last time we were there it took 45 minutes to be served. We haven’t been back sense. It’s a shame because the food is great.

I can’t believe I am giving 5 stars to a place that took 35 minutes to get me a single burger. Service was super slow and hostess seemed stressed, but after 5 bites, I just didn’t care. Best burger I have had in the Metroplex in 3 years. Awesome ranch dip. Made my day.

Well I attempted to go here. Showed up 5 minutes to closing yesterday and the place was already locked up. There were two ladies right behind trying to go as well. It really grinds my gears when places close prior to the advertised time. I may or may not try to go again.

They have a great turkey burger and the fries are great. However, after finding long strands of hair in my food I just never went back.

Excellent! I ordered take out. So I had the cheeseburger combo. I got onion rings instead of fries and it was delicious. Onion rings perfectly fried and crunchy! They were so good. My cheeseburger was to die for. It was juicy and tasty. The beef was well seasoned. I will most definitely come back here!

Nowhere near as clean as I like in a restaurant. In my opinion, the food was kinda gnarly. I had wings and a chili dog with a side of fresh cut fries. The wings were OK, nothing spectacular, the chili dog tasted to me like the chili was old and it wasn’t hot. The fries tasted just like they were fried in the same fryer as the wings and the oil tasted stale. I see they are also selling catfish too, I can only imagine how often the oil is changed for that. Other than the above, there were four tables with trash leftover from previous patrons when we walked it, and there was trash on six tables from people who had eaten and left when we left. If this place were my restaurant I would fire everyone, gut it from floor to ceiling and do my best to get the place up to what I consider to be a minimum cleanliness standard. Then I would do my best to teach whomever I hired to change the oil in the fryer once a day. Oil isn’t cheap, I realize, but it IS a part of doing business when a lot of your menu is fried foods. No way I’m eating here again.

I hate to downgrade my rating but the service at Texas Burgers and Wings has become so hit and miss it’s affecting my desire to eat there. The food is still really good, grilled chicken sandwiches have a lot of meat(unlike most grilled chicken sandwiches where the chicken is smaller than the bun) that hangs over both sides of the bun. Burgers are still decent although at times somewhat overcooked. But the service is getting to be a real problem especially if the owner isn’t there. Too many of the employee’s friends/family or off duty employees hang out there, especially after about 7:30PM. Or you come in and since everyone is in the back talking loudly to each other, they don’t see or hear you come in. Some nights the service is quick, other nights it’s maddeningly slow. I really hope the owner does something to make the service more consistent, friendly and fast. Because the food is still terrific. I’d hate to see the business go away because too many customers get pissed off about the poor customer service.

The right price, and the right flavor. Went here looking for a quick meal. Ordered eight wings to-go(4 garlic parm and 4 lemon pepper), and onion rings/hush puppies. Got a ton of food for $ 10. The hush puppies are like fries and you get TEN for $ 1.60! Onion rings were also the best I’ve had for $ 2.50(we got about 8). The wings had the perfect amount of crisp. It only took around 15 minutes and everything was fresh to order(we ever heard the oil sizzle when the ingredients were dropped). Definitely going back very soon to try the rest of the menu.

This place has promise. They have good food. However, the good will you have created with your food will be overlooked if you don’t figure out how to deliver it faster in a clean environment. I waited over 20 minutes for 3 tacos and a burger.

Fantastic homemade burger. Huge. And the rings were great. Just wish there’d been more of them. Fresh onions fried perfectly crunchy. I’ll be back.

Fries are handcut but hard and disgusting. Tasted like they had been fried in oil that hadn’t been changed in a long time. I also thought the seasoning used was nasty as well. The chicken strips were equally as bad. Old grease and over frying killed them. Had been here before and the burgers were ok but I’ve had much better… I will say that the prices aren’t bad but I won’t be returning

So I’ve eaten here twice. First time around I got the wing combo which comes with 10 wings(you can split into two flavors), fries, veggie sticks and ranch. Their fries are delish! I usually have half of them eaten before I get home. Nicely seasoned… not too greasy with a lil crunch. The wings… I got the lemon pepper and garlic parm. I’ll be honest and say I’m biased when it comes to garlic parm wings. I love Buffalo Wild Wings because they use a wet sauce. There were a dry mix. Tasty and cooked to perfection but I was missing the garlic. The lemon pepper wings were fantastic. Lots of flavor there. Definitely used fresh lemon juice. The ranch with the veggie sticks was thin and watery. Eww! Today I went and got there ¼lb cheeseburger combo. Burger, fries and drink for less than 6 bucks! Love it!!! The burger was good. Not the best but definitely better than any fast food burger. It was well seasoned. Not greasy or sloppy at all. My only gripe was that my bun was over toasted which made it hard around the edges. The fries were delish as usual. I didn’t eat in but I did have to sit and wait for my food. This place was clean. It does like like a dive which is what it is. It reminds me of a hole in the wall country bar you see in east texas just a lot cleaner. Overall, My stomach and wallet like the food here. We will be back!

Stopped here and got a burger and fries. Burger was good, fresh, well cooked. The fries were nasty. They were too greasy and you could pick up the taste of chicken wing fat in the fries. I understand that it is more efficient to use the same fryer for the wings and fries, but it tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed recently(weeks perhaps?) and the chicken fat was starting to overwhelm the oil. So I was disappointed in the fries and after I was done went to use the rest room which was nasty and smelled. Now I am not a stickler for rest rooms as I have been to numerous dive bars and sporting events that had worse, but I expect a restaurant to have a minimal level of cleanliness, and this rest room did not cut it. The burger was good so I won’t give them 1 star, but the other negatives will keep me from coming here again. There are numerous better choices for burgers in North Arlington.

What a great little place! We had the… bacon cheese burger(juicey and great flavor), guacamole burger(delish guac and grilled onions), mild wings(spicy and perfecly sauced) and the garlic parm wings(crispy and loaded with parm). I wasn’t expecting much, because they weren’t busy and I have lived in Arlington for years and never heard if it. But the burgers AND the wings were very good. I am a Wingstop fan to the hilt… but these wings are a good rival… and cheaper! I am already wanting to go back… but I do agree with another Unilocaler, this place needs a serious cleaning. So mananger if you are reading this… please vaccuum the floors everyday(under the booths), clean the windows, wipe down the tables and clean the fans.
