As an avid museum-goer, this one is amazing! Though I loved watching Parker Bohn III on TV growing up, I bowl maybe twice a year and am horrible, so I’m no enthusiast… and I can honestly say that non-bowlers will still love this museum! The exhibits are so well put together… the presentation rivals some world-class museums with more general subject matter, and is much better than some similar-sized but more trafficked ones I’ve been to in DC. And if you ARE a bowler, this place must be heaven! This might be the best hidden gem in all of DFW!!!

We stopped in to see the museum while on a weekend trip to this year’s Texas State USBC Youth Championship Tournament. We are so glad we did — this museum is incredible! We had 14 people in our party, including 7 children ages 8 – 16. All the kids enjoyed the exhibits, and especially enjoyed the Highway 66 Bowling Lanes. This was a great educational experience as well!

So cute. Go on Tuesday for the two-for-tuesday deal. Only cost’s about $ 5 a person. Not really something I ever sought out to see but I’m glad I did. Cute little museum and hall of fame. Incredibly interactive. Definitely something I would recommend if you’re in the area.

For anyone who grow up bowling, this is a great excusion. Very interactive and fun. Plus, my kids loved it, too.
