Friendly service, quick and easy we had our order on its way in just under 5 minutes after getting inside. The menu is varied and not to much you get lost in everything that it has to offer, has a nice view from the upstairs area and they are open late. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you guys so much for this great night!

Cory was our server extremely friendly and catering. Amazing and fast service, the ribs melt in your mouth and the pizza was so amazing I forget which one I ordered but you can’t go wrong with garlic bacon and chicken!

Love the classic rock décor and music! The food was excellent. Try the fish and chips and the Born on the Bayou pasta dish. Thanks to AJ for the recommendations and great service.

Most likely this is a good place to drink and listen to Classic Rock, unfortunately my son and I came here to eat. We had 2 Bar food staples; wings and pizza. Both were disappointing as we stopped at the QT across the street to get food before heading back to our hotel. Eat at your own risk. Please note they took most of the food off of our bill which was not expected.

Waited 45 minutes for our food which came out cold. There was only us and one other party in the restaurant at the time. Ordered the chicken plate and basically got fried batter.

Music was good… mozzarella cheese bread decent. That’s it. Service was bad, the waitress refilled my tea with her thumb in the glass, knuckle deep tea. Shattered Nachos? Served cold with very little cheese. Caesar Salad? Bland. Stale croutons. Bang A Gong? Bland crust, chewy, mealy chicken, not a crowd pleaser. Classic Rock? Love the music, pizza was marginally better than Pizza Hut. Overall? $ 118 wasted.

The atmosphere is what creates this place. From the get-go it looks like a crumbling building with classic rock items and murals throughout. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, checking on us and keeping our drinks full. Their menu was mostly pizzas and burgers with some unique takes on their pies. We had the White Christmas pizza, which was very flavorful. It was good but very rich and heavy. We also had the Mozz Bread as an appetizer because Unilocal have us a coupon for checking in. It was made like a pizza more than the standard mozzarella bread, but that only made it better! A few downfalls were the overly loud music in the speakers that made it a little difficult to hear at times and that we sat next to the bar where the wait staff congregated to talk. But otherwise it was a great joint for a beer and pizza on a Saturday.

Pretty good chain type of food with great décor. The beer was cold and the bartender was playful. Appetizers shined, pizza did not.

I want to give it three ½ stars. Haven’t had the pizza yet. But to all my foodies out there — check this place out! Its fun, it’s quite cool with a Laid-back atmosphere. Full bar, good tunes and an outdoor dining area. You’ll like it!

Two visits here — one was a 5 star experience, the other was a one star experience. The food was outstanding both times, however when I sat at a table in the bar, service was not good. Food was delivered without appropriate condiments(as noted on the menu), but the waitress did check on the food delivery/quality until I was finished eating. Upon arriving at the table her question was, «Can I get you another beer» even though mine wasn’t empty, but my water was. She also failed to ever ask how the food was. Servos in the dining room was much better, and I’ll probably opt to sit there again on my next visit.

This place looks the part but the service really brings it down. Bartenders at the 1st floor bar are less than attentive. I was passed over numerous times while at the bar. One bartender was making drinks for the restaurant tables with his back to the patrons and the other was looking at her feet as she walked back and forth cleaning off people’s dishes. I finally just walked off and found my friends at a table. I wanted to get a drink at the bar because I knew it would be difficult getting one once I joined them… Which it was. I was at The Rock about 20 minutes before I was served a beer. The pizza was actually pretty good… But once again, when it came to the check, my 4 friends that wanted to split it 2 ways waited… And waited. After a while another waitress came back to the table to ask what we each had… Again. I’m guessing she was sent by the main waitress because she didn’t get it all from the first time she asked. I was impressed with the new building, but will not waste my time with the number of «head shakes» I did the 2 hours we were there. Meh.

The Good– *great ambiance. Grab the 2nd floor outdoor patio if you want to watch the rides at Six Flags *classic rock and roll on the loud speakers *excellent pizza The Bad– *long long long wait for food *waiter was less than attentive. *chips and queso were very small portions Overall it was a good experience for our party of four tonight. We will back but we need to make sure we are in the mood for lots of classic rock and slow service.

We just got back from a late lunch there and are pretty impressed with our first visit. We got seated immediately and the server checked on us quite a bit and gave us time to look at the menu(on which everything sounds good). DH ordered a regular cheeseburger and fries and I got the fish and chips. The beer and drink selections look great(buckets ‘o signature drinks?), although the prices were a little high I thought. We both got fries with our meals and we agreed they were some of the best fries we’ve had — crispy on the outside and soft, but substantial on the inside. Really, really good. The fish and chips were good and they had malt vinegar to go with them, which I appreciate. You can’t have fish and chips without malt vinegar. The tartar sauce needed more pickle, as it was mostly mayonnaise, but was acceptable. The coleslaw was wonderful! Big portions and I took some home. DH liked his hamburger, although he thought it would be even better with a different bun(too much bun for the size of the burger.) He had a craft beer that looked like motor oil to me, but he really liked it. I loved that they played old rock and I sang with almost every song!(lucky DH, huh?) We’ll come back here. The rest of menu looks great, good service, great atmosphere and good location.

Not sure why this place only has 3.5 stars. Service was great, Peppercorn chopped salad was good, and the half order was plenty for three of us to share. The wings were crispy and had great flavor, the pizza we ordered was the Pride and Joy, was super flavorful, right down to the thin crispy crust, and was served onto our plates by our waitress… a nice touch. Our drinks were readily refilled and the restaurant has a fun, cool vibe.

I’ve become a regular here for two reasons: (1) Katie the bartender is easily one of the best in Arlington. She always serves me with a smile and she’s pretty darn funny too. On the weekends she works with Mike and I’ve never seen a guy more focused on getting drinks out in such a timely manner. These two are a very dynamic duo and are reason enough to check this place out. (2) The food is top notch! The pizza is hand tossed and the wood fire kitchen is open for all to see. Try the Meaty Beaty!

Finally got to try this place out. One downside is that happy hour ends at 6, kinda early. But we tried their house cocktails and beers and they were really good. $ 8 martini $ 5.25 beer non happy hour prices. We wanted a light dinner so we got soups and salad. Their Caesar is huge and fresh with plenty of croutons. Chicken gumbo and clam chowder on point! Can’t wait to come back and get their specialty pizzas. The bar has a good vibe, but sparse when it comes to TVs so don’t expect a sports bar. All in all very nice and we will be returning!

FOUNDERSPIZZA it’s good. I would get a water reverse osmosis machine mineral taste interferes with pizza. Tasted metallic I think it was the tray it was served, other than that enjoyed the meal. Atmosphere and severe was good. Friendly, helpful and fun. Service was great, I would come back if I was local.

Went for the first time tonight with my husband. Fun atmosphere, different from anything in Arlington right now. It’s got a nice décor and they play classic rock(at least that’s what was on when we were there). Like how they displayed the old Trail Dust sign in the bar. Got queso for an appetizer. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it was good. What I really enjoyed was the pizza! Can’t remember the name of what we ordered, but it had hot Italian sausage, peppered bacon, pepperoni, caramelized onions, garlic and hot cherry peppers. It was delicious! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were really nice and attentive. Would be a great spot to watch a game. We also tried their craft beer. Had the honey wheat and it was tasty. We will definitely be heading back to try more pizza! If recommend for sure.

I visited The Rock for the first time yesterday, and I am very favorably impressed. First off, the décor is great. I love how they displayed the old Trail Dust sign in the bar. I only had drinks and an appetizer, but what I had was good. They know how to mix a good stiff drink(i.e. they aren’t stingy with the booze). My mushroom appetizer was very, very good. The service was attentive and very friendly. Prices: very reasonable. I look forward to returning soon for a bigger meal.

This is a cool and fun place in Arlington! Great décor! They have fun games for kids and music for the grown ups! Food and pizza are yummy! The French onion soup is delish and I liked everything. The have an upstairs bar and a downstairs bar. Both located in areas where you can really hang out and enjoy the music and company. Best thing on the menu IMO is the Chicken Sandwich. Tastes like the ones I make off the grill in my backyard, without all the work!
