The 1-star is for lack of integrity. I ordered Cesar salad and fish & chips. The menu I had showed the prices as $ 6.99 and $ 11.99, respectively. When I got the bill, the salad charge was $ 7.49 and the fish & chips charge was $ 12.99. When I pointed this out to the server she said I was mistaken and showed me a menu. I believe it is likely I had a stray copy of an old menu. I went on their web site and the prices posted reflect the prices in my original menu I even showed this to the waitress on my iPhone and she just laughed and brushed it off. So, check your bills carefully. Like I said, it’s a poor business practice and poor integrity. I am not going to lose sleep over a $ 1.50 difference but this was ridiculous. On a positive note, the restaurant tends to serve quickly and the food is descent for airport food. The service is generally friendly.

Typical not-so-great airport restaurant. I got the crabcake sandwich, which tasted a little funny, but was edible. The fries were good, the drink I ordered was strong. Nothing was cheap. It was very«Meh.»

I stopped here between flights since it looked like the best option. The all-lump crab cake special(not on the menu) is definitely worth the up-charge on the sandwich! Waitress was very pleasant and helpful as well.

I did not have a very good experience here. I was seated right away and a waitress promptly came to take my drink order– this is where the promptness ended. I waited 12 minutes for the waitress to take my order. She was apparently busy at the table next to me chatting up the couple that was seated there. I learned a lot about her personal life, but gave up on her ever taking my order– so I left.

It is a decent place to sit to eat while waiting for a plane. The food is fine, the beer is cold and the service is friendly enough. The menu is basic but it gets the job done.

I’m going 3 stars. Beer selection = really good for an airport location(6 draft beers). Had the crab cake sandwich… when we attempted to order, were informed that there was an option for a $ 3 upgrade to get an all-crab crab cake on that sandwich. We chose the upgrade rather than the crappy crab(our name), but felt a bit shady. On the plus side, the large beer is a $ 1 upgrade.

Surprisingly, the long line whittled down quickly. Super fast & friendly service. Food is good; not gourmet, but way better than the fast food kiosks. And for it to be in the airport, pleasantly priced. Space is a little tight, but what do you expect in an airport.

Food was good — for airport food. Clean, open and straight forward. Service is very good. Bar looked fine but I couldn’t partake today. Good choice of beers on tap including Stella, YingLing and Dos Equis.

On my first trip flying Delta in years(which was a very good experience by the way) I found myself for the first time flying out of Terminal B. The delta club(which I bought a pass for) was very nice but didn’t have any substantial food so I found myself at Tidewater landing. I was sat quickly and I decide what I wanted before the waitress came which seems to be key to getting your food quickly almost anyplace but especially at a busy airport. As planned, my shrimp Po Boy and side salad came quickly. They both were delicious. The service was friendly and quick enough so I could get back to the a Delta club for some free wine before my flight. I would definitely eat here again. I might even plan to.

On a quick trip to DC I decided to grab a bite to eat before I boarded to come back to Tampa. This was right by my gate and I was very pleased with my service. The food menu was your typical all american bar and grill type of stuff, which is why I went with my staple favorite Buffalo Chicken Bites. They were great. This was a mid morning flight which warranted a Bloody Mary, which was also delicious. My server was friendly, efficient and nice to talk to. If you’re in the Reagan airport by gate B6, I recommend Tidewater!

So where would you go on a Friday afternoon in the airport after a hard work week? TIDEWATERLANDING of course! Well actually a BAR so this was my only choice in terminal B at Reagan airport. The actual bar was full so I sat solo at a table for two. Five minutes later my tall Sam Adam’s seasonal was delivered filled up to top! I thoroughly enjoyed the brew while people watching before my departing flight.

Okay, you bust through the security lines at Reagan National to Terminal B. Are you thirsty? Well good, then stop in at this quaint nautical bar/restaurant named Tidewater Landing. Did you start drinking before your arrived at the airport? Then again, stop by this quaint nautical bar/restaurant named Tidewater Landing. Are you hungry? Keep walking! Are you still sober? Keep walking! The $ 12.00 fried shrimp dinner with coleslaw and french fries should be wonderful, right? It is an attractive setting and they do look like they cater to seafood dishes. But it is simply not true. The service was good, not great. My tea glass was empty, then refilled. And when the waiter removed my empty tea glass for refilling, he stopped, not once, but twice at other customers’ tables to address their issues. Get with it buddy! The french fries had a small black hair — yes, I said hair! I was so shocked by the quarter filled cup of coleslaw that I posted a photo on this review. And the shrimp… the star of my plate remember??? Did someone see an old bearded seaman peeking out from the kitchen??? Oh, yes the Gorden Fisherman was involved with my meal’s preparation. It tasted and looked like the frozen shrimp from my freezer. Do us all a favor, go there to drink and relax. But eat before you arrive!

Got to the airport only to learn our flight had been delayed and we had a three hour wait in front of us. Made our way through security only to learn that at National, unlike at some other airports, security is terminal-specific. We did not have the freedom to wander far, and so we settled into our next few hours’ life in Terminal B. We spotted Tidewater Landing and decided(well, I decided) a glass of wine was in order. As we sat, the place became pretty packed — mostly filled with other refugees from our flight, I think. But, we had manged to snag a comfy table by the wall — so out of the line of traffic. We ordered drinks and perused the food menu. Prices were surprisingly reasonable by airport standards: $ 5 for a house wine and $ 7 for a chicken sandwich with fries. My husband got a shrimp ‘n chips concoction that was a bit more expensive, but still in line with what you’d pay in the non-airport world. Food was standard«bar and grill» fare, but perfectly adequate. Our server was friendly and did not seem to mind that we lingered after our plates were empty and our second round of drinks was done. Eating, drinking, and gabbing at Tidewater Landing sure beat just sitting at the gate staring at the clock. Were life to again bring me to DCA Terminal B, I would definitely stop in again.

Fine for the beers, and even the margarita I ordered was decently good. But do not, I repeat DONOT get the chicken on a salad. It is not real chicken. Its the chicken they make look like«grilled chicken» but really it has the brown marks all but painted on the strips and they are rubbery, think chewing on a hot tire.

I had the fish and chips. First off, the service was great. The fish was of the quality of a large fish stick and the chips were shoestring fries. Not great but not bad for airport food.

I was in the Reagan Airport, so this is a airport restaurant… that said, I was able to get a crab cake and salad. It was good. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but I wouldn’t avoid it either. The crab cake was mostly crab, it was an upcharge for the mostly crab version, and it was small, yet it had a nice flavor. The salad was mixed greens and was fine. There was a friendly staff, and I made my flight no problems.

I just came here just for drinks while waiting for my flight. Initially, I was having a drink at Qdoba but they were charging $ 10 bucks for something equivalent to 2 shots’ worth. I thought I’d give this place a try. Dammit! No Redbull! Opted for 7&7 instead. For $ 3 more, I could make it a double. Overall, I spent $ 8 per drink… a good-sized drink, that is. Let me just say that I was feeling happy when I needed to board the plane! Thanks, Tidewater! Oh, ask for Brandon. He was awesome! Meanwhile, I now have a favorite airport bar!

Usually airport food is horrible for some strange reason, so relatively speaking this was good. We got… Grilled Chicken and Bacon Melt — It looks really good in the picture I posted. I found the bacon to be tough, the chicken to be small and dry and the bun it was on, blah. It was freshly made and well seasoned. I personally don’t care for shoe string fries but they were freshly made as well. Fish and Chips — The fish was light and flaky and tasted just fine. It was nothing out of ordinary and that is OK. Service was prompt and courteous. The place was clean. Life is good. Next…

Tidewater Grill in DCA’s Terminal B was a decent meal. We had the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich platters that included a small serving of cole slaw, pickle, and french fries. Their french fries are really thin. The food taste was fine. Their menu has a lot of seafood. The menu offering prices range widely so you can eat as cheaply or expensively as you want. Our waiter was attentive. The restaurant was packed around lunchtime. It is located in Terminal B’s main food court after you get through security.
