Came here for IBM training – like everyone else – and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was a bit small, but very cozy. The bed and pillows were much more comfortable than the average hotel. There was a desk with a nice office chair and an armchair so that you could relax or work as you saw fit. The shower left something to be desired, but it’s possible that it was just the shower head and that I could have just complained and wound up in a different room which had a better shower. The grounds of the whole place are gorgeous since it’s basically set up in a 600 acre nature preserve that IBM bought when the times were good. The views from my room – and I think pretty much all of the rooms – looked out into the woods with no other buildings visible at all. The breakfast, which is included in the room, was spectacular including a station where a chef custom made omelets and waffles as well as a good selection of other typical breakfast foods including fruit, bacon, rotation sausage, potatoes and the like. It was a great way to start the day. Lunch was buffet style with some hand-made station set up that varied. The pasta station was only OK, the gyro station was really good, and I forget what it was on the third day. Otherwise, the buffet options were on the high-end of buffet, but nothing that would knock your socks off. Dinner was disappointing the one night I had it. Paying $ 15 for deep fried cod with two pieces of lettuce and some mediocre sweet-potato fries wasn’t what I was hoping for. The cod could very well have been from a frozen box at the grocery store.

Stayed here for one night last week. Rooms are small but nice and with plenty of amenities. Restaurant was very good for breakfast, made to order omelets and pancakes. Plenty of rooms for meetings and some good recreation areas(pool tables, ping pong, and such).

I came here for a leadership meeting. It is situated in the middle of the woods in Armonk, NY. The campus was peaceful and felt more like a retreat. It is perfect for meetings. The food was excellent. They need a better business center but the front staff will help with your needs.

Came for a weekend of classes and it is in a pretty quiet area. So quiet that some people thought there might be axe-murderers waiting to pounce at night. The facilities are nice and the food is fine. The best part is that one of the dorm buildings has a pool table, a foosball table, and a ping pong table, so it was a nice place to hang out after a day of class.

I came here for training/orientation back in 2006 but was surprised no one has reviewed this yet. The facilities are AMAZING. I saw freaking fauna outside of my building and on the way to their workout facility. There are shuttles to take you to various buildings and the dining facility is supposed to be equivalent to a 4-star restaurant. Maybe 3 or 3.5 by SF area standards, but for the tiny local area, I guess it is pretty good. Definitely better than a typical hotel restaurant. The meetings were all catered during breaks and the learning/team facilities are all top notch and state of the art, as expected from the largest IT company in the world. This is an excellent center for business meetings, company retreats, etc. There are great hotels and convention centers in big cities, but the scenery here is worthy of the Discovery Channel. What I’d really like to do is come back so I can tour the IBM museum!
