History

Established in 2010.

With my firstborn, I realized how much money we were spending on disposables each month, how stinky & massive our garbage was, & I noticed recurring diaper rash. I started researching cloth diapers. When I learned that they’re more eco-​friendly, more affordable, better for baby’s bottoms, & just as easy to use as disposables, I had to give it a try! I ordered a cloth diaper trial online from a reputable retailer & had a small stash of a variety of diapers within a week. We tried them out & blogged about our experience to share with family & friends. After trying them for one week we decided it was time to make the switch!

As mothers, we’re careful about everything for our kids: from the foods they eat, to the toys they play with, to the material their clothing is made of, to their laundry detergent, to the chemicals used in their bottles & pacifiers. Why shouldn’t we care just as much about the diapers that cover their most precious parts?!

Carrie Wells is a wife and mom of 2 beautiful girls. She explored the world of cloth diapers after a frustrating disposable diaper experience with her firstborn. She continued to use cloth diapers with her second child and has had the privilege of trying some of the best modern cloth diapers in the world! Bitty Bottoms LLC grew out of her passion for cloth diapers and all the positive aspects they offer to baby, mommy, family, and generations to come!
