I was referred to this practice by our pediatrician for allergy testing. I also had many friends who raved about this office. I have to say I’m glad I didn’t base my decision of other Unilocal reviews. I have a very active 3 yr old and I was worried about how he was going to do for testing. He did great. The front office staff is very warm and inviting. They made my son feel very special as soon as he walked in the door. The way they have to appointment set up, you easily forget it’s a few hours long. The physicians assistant was amazing durring the exam and explained what would happen with the testing to my son and myself. The nurse brought us to a different exam room and began the testing. She explained each step and was so sweet. Testing a 3yr old isn’t easy, but she did great with being so patient with him and taking her time to make sure he was comfortable. After the testing we met with the doctor and PA. I feel very confident in the plan for managing the allergies. I will certainly recommend this practice in the future.

I found this group after reading another Unilocal review for one of the doctors in this practice, and since they’re located in the same building as my primary care physician, it seemed a natural choice. It took several weeks to get an appointment, but I finally made it in for my much needed allergy testing. The staff were friendly, and the wait time was minimal. They use a team approach, with the RN, PA, and MD all working together, which gives you a good comprehensive understanding of what needs to be done. However, the testing area isn’t very private… my testing was done out in the open in front of a woman and her three children and there were mutliple staff members walking through the area throughout the process. They also didn’t seem very well organized… there were timers going off all over the place, with nurses yelling across the room at each other that their patient was finished. I also heard several of the nurses complaining that they don’t have enough computers, and it seemed a constant struggle to get access to the PFT unit. Having worked in busy medical practices, I understand how things can get, so I didn’t want to be too critical. But for those who may not understand what they go through, these types of observations could be a bit unsettling to some.
