My sister and now brother-​in-​law entrusted me to select a DJ for their 140 person wedding at the Avila Beach Golf Resort.
From my first meeting with Chris, I knew he was the DJ for the wedding. He had the 4 P’s — he was personable, professional, prepared and prompt.
Not only was the planning process a breeze with Chris, so was the wedding plan execution. Chris did an awesome job MCing the wedding, making sure the wedding schedule was followed. In addition to being a wonderful host, Chris comes with a great sound system, and is a talented DJ. My sister and brother-​in-​law, wanted to have a ‘RAVE’ dance party the last hour of the party. Chris put together a fun selection of songs, and had all of us dancing. Each song flowed effortlessly into the next. There were no awkward pauses or tempo changes.

We hired Chris to be the DJ for our ceremony and reception. He did a FANTASTIC job! His song choice/​playlist is perfect. He started with some oldies to get the older crowd going and then seamlessly migrated into more contemporary hip hop songs. After the wedding everyone kept telling us we through the best party ever, and I contribute those comments to his great DJ skills.
Also, before the wedding you fill out an extensive survey of how the day will go down and you get to choose songs from a HUGE library. If you want a fun night that has everyone on the dance floor (my 80 year grandmother even did the chicken dance!) hire Chris. You won’t regret it.

I am SO glad we hired Bailey Entertainment for the DJ/​MC at our wedding! They made the planning process easy in the days leading up to the wedding, and I was so impressed by how buttoned-​up and perfect the whole day went because of Neal.
Our wedding ceremony was in a hard-​to-​get-​to location without power outlets, but that was no problem for them. Neal arrived with plenty of time to set-​up and make sure everything was perfect before guests started arriving. Neal was a full-​service DJ who helped us direct guests to each location, dismiss tables for our buffet, queued up all the correct songs, and had a great music selection to fit the mood. We had everyone dancing all night long!
We could not have been more pleased with Neal & Bailey Entertainment. Both Chris & Neal were responsive, professional, kind and the company has competitive pricing. We would highly recommend them to any central coast bride!

5.0 stars does not represent how happy my husband and I are with Chris’ DJ services. Chris was a pleasure to work with during the entire wedding-​planning process. He was flexible, personable, and professional which made our «long distance» planning easy. (I planned the wedding from Southern CA but got married in Nipomo/​Arroyo Grande).
He was quick to respond to my questions and emails, suggested a phone call to finalize details the week prior, and met for a final walk-​through with our venue and coordinator. (He’s done numerous weddings at the Dana Powers House & Barn and has it down, but still took time to meet with us for my peace of mind — for that, I’m grateful and appreciative!)
He was the most competitive in price and, during our first meeting, my husband and I just knew he was the right person. His online song database and planning forms were easy to use, and he was the perfect MC for the evening — he’s happy to be as talkative or as quiet as you’d like. Thank you, Chris! Zech and I loved our music and enjoyed dancing all night.

Chris Bailey was the easiest and nicest DJ I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He DJ’d our wedding this past weekend and made our entire day so much fun. He worked with our selective play list and really helped us create musically the day we had imagined.
What’s wonderful about Chris is he really keeps reminding you that your wedding is really about you. So professional and easy to work with, I was in contact with him throughout the entire planning process– which he made easy. He truly exceeded our expectations. Our DJ, Chris Bailey, was super professional. He made our experience very easy and painless. His website is very organized and helped our event run very smooth, especially since there were so many things we didn’t know we needed to do! The website let him know exactly what we wanted (timeline, which songs to play and when…), and we knew exactly what to expect from him. Some songs we wanted to have played after our ceremony were not available on his site, and all we had to do was tell him what we wanted, and he got it for us immediately. He was also familiar with our wedding venue and knew exactly where to set up. We didnt have to tell him anything, he knew everything; it was so nice especially since there are so many other things going on throughout the day. Super friendly, timely, and reliable, and I would recommend him to anyone!

Choosing Chris Bailey as our DJ was not only an easy decision, but one of our best choices in vendors. Chris always responded to emails and phone calls immediately and was very helpful in answering our questions, especially when we were completely lost on some of our song choices. Chris also owns his own company, so you will receive personal attention directly from him, rather than from a secretary or other employee. His rates are affordable and he is also flexible if you need to change items in your contract (like location, starting/​end times, etc.). Chris proved to go above and beyond as our DJ. When our original venue canceled our wedding, I called to let him know. Before the end of my workday, he had already called several new venues for us to see if they were available. What other DJ would do that? On wedding day, he was prompt, professional, followed our pre-​discussed timeline and song choices, and kept the event flowing as our Master of Ceremonies. Our one major request from him was to keep people out on the dance floor, and he delivered. He kept the music upbeat, took requests from our guests, and even warned my husband (a country music hater) ahead of time before we did the Electric Slide. We give Chris our highest recommendation as a DJ in the SLO area.

Chris was an amazing Dj at our wedding/​reception. Not only did he DJ but he did the up lighting, and had a projector for our slide show. The lighting helped the room tremendously, it looked awesome. He was very professional and knew what to do. He helped me a lot with the timing of everything. It went very smoothly and I thank Chris for that!

Chris from Bailey Entertainment is great. I worked with him recently with an out of town couple and he was incredible. Always very responsive, organized, and friendly. He was also great to work with on the day of the wedding, he arrived early to be sure he was all set and ready, I didn’t have to remind him to begin music (phew! you would be amazed at how many DJ’s I have to hunt down), he was ALWAYS on task! He made my job way easier. He clearly knows what he is doing and by the end of the night I just wanted to give him a huge high five for all of his awesomeness. He was a great EMCEE on top of it all. It is rare you see a DJ who can capture a crowd and not become over baring. Chris has all of those qualities. I will surely be referring him in the future. Also, his online system is incredible. It’s a great way to stay organized with all of your DJ related items! Thank you Chris for all your hard work!

Chris’ level of service was UNREAL. He met with my fiancée and I before the big day and clued us in on all the elements of music and sound hookups that we needed to think about (most were way off our radar, so his guidance was oh-​so-​necessary). He didn’t rush us, had a great easy-​going personality, and he made sure to get us to the right kinds of decisions for us — getting the ambiance that we envisioned. Once we decided what we wanted, he made it all happen, flawlessly.
During the wedding, he kept the party going, judged the crowd and the dance party just right, and made announcements without any hint of «cheesy DJ» spiel. (All things that I was incredibly worried about.) In short, he provided the most perfect atmosphere, all without us having to worry about a thing. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ — thanks, Chris!
