Get-A-Mattress

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Lazy-​boy power XR+ recliner. I have not received it yet because I chose a fabric — but this review is for the salesperson who helped me. Susan was so much help, while never being pushy. She asked me what I wanted and needed in a recliner and then led me to the perfect match. She was patient, thoughtful and a joy to work with. I plan to purchase two more for the family room and I look forward to working with Susan again. Good service is what it’s all about!

Pretty good selection of La-​Z-​Boy and various mattress manufacturers, and we have found their service to be excellent.
PROS: Purchased one of our La-​Z-​Boy recliners here. Two years later, we had a problem w/​the foot rest. Called Get-​A-​Mattress, and they had a local furniture repairman come by for an in-​home inspection. He was able to repair the problem on the spot for a nominal fee. .. happy customers!!! Also, we got our king mattress here several years ago. Purchased during one of their holiday sales, and we were able to get an additional 10% off on top of the sale price. Bed is superb and the price was right!

My 11 year old needed new mattresses for her trundle bed. Our sales person Kathy was very helpful. Selection was overwhelming. Found what she wanted and it was so fun my daughter wanted to have her birthday party there!

The employee that helped me was very nice, but the (expensive) mattress left much to be desired. I won’t be back.

I purchased a queen size mattress and frame from Get-​A-​Mattress roughly 4 years ago. I purchased one of the lower priced models, as it was stiff and super comfortable. Seemed all the high-​end models were too soft and fluffy for my comfort. The good news is, they have so many mattress you will definitely be able to find one you will like!
I also needed a frame for the bed, and found a really neat platform frame that was a floor model and on sale! In fact, I worked out a great deal with the sales associate (who was very helpful), and was very happy with the value of both the mattress and frame.
The assembly team came at the designated time, carried the mattress and frame up 3 flights of stairs, and had the whole shebang together in no time!
4 years later, and I’m still very happy with the purchase and will definitely shop from Get-​A-​Mattress when I need another bed! Last time I was there, I noticed that they had beefed-​up their furniture selection, which is convenient if you’re looking to outfit an entire room/​house.

Being in the Military I am used to getting swindled from retailers who claim they «support the troops» and have our best interests in mind. Our last mattress we bought was one of the worst purchases thus far. We were set on buying a new mattress and were not going to accept substandard service. I can tell you that from the moment we walked into Get A Mattress the feeling was as if we were walking thru our own home. No pressure, no shenanigans. They understood our situation as well as my background, and never used it to their advantage. Months later after shopping around we came to their website and decided to purchase a latex mattress from them. Because my wife is pregnant with our third child a latex mattress was the way to go, it is natural and we did not want the baby to be exposed to the chemicals that come in non-​latex mattresses. They white glove delivered in to our bedroom one week later! After one week of being proud owners of a brand new latex mattress, it is with out a doubt the smartest decision we have made. It is way better than they described it, and my wife can appreciate the back and side support she gets from the 3″ latex pillow topper. I am 100% satisfied with our experience and our purchase and would recommend it to anyone!

We needed to get a mattress set for my mother, who had been having back problems, mostly due to the 30 year old set she had! We had casually looked around, and finally got serious about purchasing the set. I had passed the store on several occasions while driving the 101 freeway, but never had the opportunity to stop. We finally got serious last weekend and decided to give the store a try. We certainly made a good decision. We were promptly greeted at the main entrance by a nice young man by the name of Sam, who let us know that it would be easier for my mother, who uses a walker, to go to the other entrance that would put on the mattress level. He met us at the other door and we proceeded to inform him of our needs. Sam was not only accomodating, but very knowledgeable about the products. The selection was amazing! Every size, firmness, most manufactures were represented, it was like a mattress Disneyland! Sam took us to some moderately priced sets, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. He gave his opinion, and helped us to make the decision on a firm mattress. He stayed with us the entire time, only leaving to write up the deal, which was much less than was listed on the price tag! He was an absolute pleasure to work with. The mattress was purchased on a Sunday, it had to be ordered, arrived one day earlier than Sam had quoted, and was delivered, free of charge, set up on Friday. They took away the old mattress, too.
If you every need a mattress, or other furniture for that matter, make sure to visit Get A Mattress before making a final selection, you will be more than glad you did. All the people working there were very friendly, but I am a little partial to Sam! He was GREAT!

I’ve had my new latex mattress now for 2 weeks. It really is the perfect combination of support and comfort. I think being able to test so many beds in the store while working with their knowledgeable sales rep provided the best experience that ill be able to enjoy for many years to come. We also purchased a new all natural bed for our 4 year old as he has had allergy issues. He seems to be sleeping more soundly at night which is making for a happier little guy all day.

Found a great latex bed made by Bliss. Kathy is a really knowledgable sales person and very very helpful. Would recommend for different kinds of beds than you find typically with other types of materials other than coils.
A little pricey but good quality.

My wife and I went to four stores searching out a high quality mattress since we have never had a good bed. Not only was the selection at this store phenomenal, but the customer service (mostly Elke was working with us) was really great. Not at all pushy but highly informative. Whereas, many of the other stores tried to just push beds on us — these guys really took the time to educate us on the different materials and costs/​benefits of all. In fact, after hearing some of our preferences and even though we said that cost was not a big factor for us, they actually steered us away from some of the more expensive mattresses. We purchased a latex mattress with a high percentage of natural materials and can’t wait for it to arrive. We also liked that even though it seems like a big chain store (because of size and selection), it is actually locally owned and operated. Prices were definitely not the cheapest out there but we felt good about our purchase.
