Established in 2008.

Gopher goo was invented by Dr. Heather Vallier due to her love of gardening and desperation at the lack of effective controls available for gopher control, mole control, vole control not to mention squirrels. After trying everything from traps to car exhaust she had a gopher attacking her prized tropical plants and then she had an inspiration. Why not fill the burrow, fill tunnels, fill the whole system of underground tunnels. It worked beautifully, and Gopher Goo was born. Everyone wanted some since it was so easy and also good for the garden. The demand was urgent so she began the business, applied for a patent, and it has be a beautiful adventure since then.

Heather Vallier has a B.S. in Biology from Cal Poly S.L.O, and a M.S. and Ph. D from University of Hawaii. She is a practicing Plant Pathologist and Plant Health diagnostition and her Business «The Crop Doctor Laboratory» is in is 25^th year of operation. Dr. Vallier is dedicated to helping plants and the people who love plants. Gophers, moles, voles and other burrowing rodents are a direct threat to those plants and frustrate the people who love them, so it was a natural fit to expand into an organic Gopher Control line. Gophers used to be the bane of her existance and now they are just a nuisance. .. as she tells it «Go get your goo and the Gopher is gone!» She is living and gardening Gopher free on the beautiful Central Coast of California.
