Food is great, have tried a few of the menu items, but keep going back to the bowls and wings. Happy hour prices are great and gives you a chance to try other items as well. Wouldn’t even waste my time going to any of the chain chicken bowl places considering the quality and quantity of what you can get here. Restaurant is a little small considering the amount of business they get during peak hours.

I’m giving the food & service 5STARS. Their stinky filthy restroom is another story. We enjoyed the oxtail fries, wings & corn. The pork belly sliders lacked flavor, other than that they’re ok. Staff during happy hr, were great, very attentive. Ladies please use the restroom before you arrive as it is NOT in the best conditions. It smells HORRIBLE and it looks as if it never gets cleaned. It may change your mind about dining there… Also, don’t drink the water, it’s horrible. Yes I will eat there again. the food is BOMB! but the restroom AINT!

If I could leave only one star I could. Mediocre food with terrible, terrible service. The Belly Bombz food truck was at my daughter’s Open House night at school yesterday. We got in line at 6:40 and were not helped until 7:22! The line wasn’t very long, it took the man 3 – 5 minutes to take each order & then run around inside the truck doing who knows what– hopefully not handling money then food(gross and against OSHA standards). I wouldn’t have stood in line but this was dinner for my daughter & she had been so excited about getting food from the trucks and hadn’t eaten anything else in anticipation of this! We ordered the 8 piece boneless Honey Chipotle BBQ wings & slaw. The man taking orders was very short with us. I asked how long until the order would be ready and he stated 10 – 15 minutes. We went to my daughter’s classroom and returned at 7:40 hoping we could pick up our food and visit her other classroom as it would be closing at 8 pm. Still not ready. I tried to ask how long it would be & he ignored my question the first couple times then finally stated ‘it was coming’. Here we are at 7:56– food is finally ready! We would have been able to visit the other class & return by now with a better estimate and not being ignored! Additionally, and this was the last straw, the chef handed the man our food and I saw a wing fall off of the plate. He handed us the food and I asked about the other wing(I had already paid $ 8.60 for this, I would like my daughter to have the whole meal!) to and he said there were more than 8 wings already so that one didn’t matter. After our already bad experience I shouldn’t have trusted him but I wanted to see my daughter’s other classroom so we covered the food with foil and RAN over to her classroom hoping it was still open. She ended up eating the food after we were the last family and missed her class slide show :/and we were ripped off! SEVEN boneless wings total! I really wish I could give zero stars. Such an extremely disappointing experience between the wait, the service, shorting us our food & lying about it. Oh– I almost forgot. The tip jar read ‘Sometimes it’s good to put just the tip in.’ While I really do think that’s funny, completely inappropriate for Open House for 6−8th graders. My daughter knows about sex but I’m really glad she didn’t read this & ask me what that insinuated! Wouldn’t have been hard for them to just tape the tip jar onto the window the opposite direction so that couldn’t be seen. TERRIBLE experience! Pick any other food truck!!!

Food was bland, server was absent, nothing was refilled. I’m disappointed because this place was great in the beginning! The flavor used to be on point, now they’re just missing the target altogether.

I’ve been to this location 3 times total, not sure if I would return. I went two times during happy hour, so the prices were a total steal and kind of made up for everything else. The wings and fries were good and I love their elotes. My third visit was very confusing. Walked in around happy hour time and asked the staff if it was happy hour. The waitress that was attending to us was super confused and had no idea what I was talking about, so she asked the other waitress, who confirmed that it was happy hour. But we weren’t provided with happy hour menus, which I also asked about, to which I was given the response that they didn’t have them anymore. She told me something about the storefront expanding so things were changing or moving around or whatever. So I asked what was on the happy hour menu, and the waitress told me that it was for sliders and wings and beer. I asked how much the discount was, and she gave me a super vague answer, saying it was about 30%. I was weirded out but ordered with my friend and we waited for our food. The restaurant was pretty empty when I went but after we ordered I spied ONE happy hour menu across the room taped to the wall. I was so confused and I was just like not understanding the situation or like the lack or organization. Anyway, the food came, it was fine. Wings are good(I like mom’s recipe) and the fries are solid. We got the pork belly sliders which were also quite good. We finished our food and the check came, and no happy hour discount was applied. At this point I just figure that none of the staff have any idea what they’re doing or what they’re talking about. I wanted to ask them about the discount but I was kind of sick of asking the wait staff about things they either didn’t know about or didn’t want to acknowledge. I left super confused and probably won’t return.

Overall really good. Spicy seracho wings where really good. Dust bomb wings where good. Honey chipotle wings didn’t have much flavor to them. I was looking forward to those. Waiter didn’t really check on us after he delivered our food. We had to go up to him personally a few times to ask for ranch and our check. But other than that, it was good.

Good tasting food, some are a little over the top in price, some worth it and some not. I get why the 51⁄50 sliders are so pricey(because they’re delish) but cmon’ for a few sliders… that’s a little steep. The elotes are bomb, everyone talks about them. The first time we ordered it, it was burnt and therefore, that burnt taste was overwhelming and ruined the experience. Came back another time, had an appetite for elotes and it was better(thank god!). Also ordered the dust bomb(whatever it’s called) and the chicken with the parmesan cheese too was also fire. Service was OK, not really attentive as they were too busy talking about what they were going to do after work but whatevs. Will probably try the food truck next time we catch them in the East Side.

I’ve had quite of few recommendations from my peers and colleagues about this restaurant. They spoke highly of the food and I was curious to try it out. Belly bombz, the name sounds clever but disappointingly wasn’t as Bombz as I expected it to be. Considering that it was my first time, I’m only going to review the order I had and not the whole restaurant itself. There might have been other dishes I missed out on. Anyways, I’ll start with what I ordered which was the crispy pork belly sliders. On a side note pork belly has always been my favorite meat and I wanted to taste how they cook it. I don’t really want to bash on it, but I felt like the price of the meal was not worth it at all. It took a while for my food to come out. At first glance, it looked really good. I mean it wasn’t that bad but the portion was very disappointing. I understand that it was a slider, but it could have had more size to it. I had more vegetables then the pork belly. It was supposed to be crispy, but It turned out to be soggy. I basically paid a price for a meal when it fact the portion size was enough as an appetizer. Surprisingly we got to be seated pretty quick, I heard it gets really busy and packed. Guess we went in at the right time. Also, I’d like to say that the service here wasn’t that great. First time experience and the waiter and waitress was rude. We were a party of 6 and sat literally next to the cashier. I don’t know how you guys didn’t acknowledge us or take our order within the first 15 minutes of being sat down. Ordering drinks seemed like an inconvenience for the waiter. Yes, we used the Unilocal check in, at least say please without an attitude to tell us to check in.

This place really bomb for food… elote loco, pork belly bowl, seasoned chicharronnes, bone in wings is what my wife had for dinner. We are definitely coming back here, this place deserves 10 stars.

Crispy pork belly was not crispy and dry. Garlic fries was pretty good. BUT $ 16 for two sliders and a fries? I think it’s over priced.

I’ve wanted to try this place for a while… Did not disappoint. The elote dish… Bomb… Their 51⁄50 Sliders… Bomb… Their lemon pepper and their bomb Dust… Bomb. Only thing lacking is the craft beer selection… Bit they still have a decent one.

NEVERAGAIN. I’ll start from the beginning: I spend over $ 17 for a single lunch and they have the nerve to charge me $ 0.50 to pay with my debit card. I can understand if I costed you more to use my card for purchase because my meal was so cheap, but ITWASNOT. I hope the owner reads this because that big THING that should be reevaluated. ***inside tip*** everyone that paid after me and some before, mentioned this surcharge and their dismay. My name is called for my food and it doesn’t look like my Garlic Parmesan Fries have much of garlic Parmesan. Whatever, I move on… I start to eat and the meal tastes totally unsatisfactory. The boneless wings are OVER-COOKED, and the fries taste like they sat in old oil for 30 seconds too long. BellyBombZ definitely«bombed» my lunch!

Noticed that Belly Bombz Kitchen has two different Unilocal entries. So, I am going to copy my review to this Unilocal entry also. Not going to re-post my pictures here, though. Had a 3.5 star experience here at Belly Bombz Kitchen with the family. Sorry, I am not rounding up this time. The restaurant is not very large, but we were seated right away cause it was not busy. The ambiance was fine, and the food came out in good time. Service was not very friendly or attentive, though. Now onto the most important subject. The food which we all shared! Longanisa Corn Dogs appetizer. None of us were impressed, but the presentation was nice. Overpriced for mediocre little corn dogs.(2.5 stars) Chicken Skin Chicharrones appetizer. I liked this appetizer quite a bit. Crispy and delicious specially when using the sauce they gave.(4 stars) Firecracker Pork Belly Bowl showed promise, but it disappointed. Did not taste as good as it looked. Pork belly was bland.(2.5 stars) Crispy Pork Belly Slider was a better choice. Surprisingly, the pork belly in the slider was much better than the meat in the bowl.(3 stars) Korean BBQ Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese sandwich was okay. Not bad, but not outstanding either. Just average.(3 stars) Black Phoenix Stout Oxtail Poutine was the Bomb or should I say the Belly Bombz!!! This specialty of theirs did not disappoint! I loved this flavorful creation of theirs! The braised oxtail was sooooo very delicious!!!(5 stars) Belly Bombz Kitchen. Try them out and see what you think.

Took my wife and kids for lunch and we were beyond happy. The location is kinda off the wall but surrounded by shaved ice and funnel cake so business should prove perfect. I ordered pork belly sliders and ox tail poutine fries to share. The pork belly was perfectly cooked, nice and crispy. The slaw on the burgers was a great touch. Not to tart or sweet. The ox tail poutine fries were crazy good. The ox tail was so tender, fries were crispy, just enough gravy and cheese curds to keep the dish from going soggy. My wife had the brisket burrito and loved it. My son had the soy caramel wings and 51⁄50 sliders. The wings were good but said the sliders were off the hook good. My daughter had the bacon fried rice and wanted a order to go but, no. Great service, atmosphere, not to packed, over all we had a great time.

Hands down the best service in the area! Gotta try Elote, KBBQ Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese sandwich, Bomb Dust Wings, Fried Pork Belly Sliders and Siracha Lime Wings. However, if you are there when they have the Burger special, it is a must. The burger is a mixed Chuck/bulgogi patty. The food can have a bit of a kick, but it’s a good spicy.
