This place is a gem… for Lankan and South Indian especially Kerala items. Don is the most friendly guy I’ve ever met in a Desi grocery store… always smiling and willing to help. Go here on Sat /​Sun — and its a paradise with mouth watering and homely short eats like Parippu Vada, Medhu Vada and Fish Rolls etc… and very inexpensive… a few stores down the street have ‘em but will be double the price and maybe who knows when it was made, but this guy sells it fresh!!! He also carries most name brands of rice and other items that you wont find in the other bigger Indian stores around. Also, don’t forget to get your free Ceylon tea… i dont know of any other store which offers free tea for all its customers… And for the negative reviewer friends — Not sure what your expectations were… but sorry to say — you guys are wrong– LA have’nt had a better Kerala /​SriLankan store in a while, like this one… I’m a fan!!!

There’s finally a place in Cerritos for predominantly Sri Lankan products. They even have EGB (Elephant House ginger beer)! I will definitely be a frequent customer.

Great Place to buy Sri Lankan and Kerala food items. I’ve been to this store about 5 times over the last one year and I’ve never seen cockroaches or flies as some comments have mentioned. On the contrary it’s a very clean store! They have pretty much everything you need from Sri Lankan spices, grains, canned and bottled products to frozen food items (shredded kothu rotti, roast paan, parata, seer fish, kos mallun, etc). The prices are not too bad either!
If you want to buy speciality sri lankan food items in Orange County this is the place to go !!

This place has rare rice varieties and mud pots and idly cooker. I was too excited when i saw this small store. Visited it 3 times, referred my friends too but the store managers and owners attitude was as petty as the store.
In short, Mean people and totally biased ! I was like, what the ???, in USA, come on, u must be kidding me. If you wanna see some rare items and have a horrible day, you can visit.

I saw the earlier review about the roches. I was reluctant, but went there to get some Sri lankan grocery. It is a clean place and basically have most of the SriLankan products. Finally I don’t have to drive all the way to Ventura blvd to do the Srilankan grocery.

Pathetic and filthy place. Rice flea in the rice bags and roaches in dal packets which are sealed. Never will ever buy in this place

A decent place for Sri Lankan and Kerala food items. It is a small grocery store with speciality items form Sri Lanka and India. They have a wide variety of dry fish all imported from Sri Lanka. Also they have reputed food like MD brand jams and sambol. They also have rose pan and an entire frozen food section. Check them out of you are interested in Sri Lankan food items
