Jose Cayetano I Cadiz DDS

I grudgingly went to Dr. Cadiz’s office after being referred by my mother-​in-​law. I wanted to go to another spiffy dentist that I had found on Unilocal,but my persistent mom was very clear that Dr. Cadiz would do a good job.
And she was right, although it wasn’t Dr. Cadiz, but another female dentist whose name I forgot.
I like this office because there was virtually no wait, other than for me to fill out the forms. But this is a no-​frills place. There are no flat screens at every station. You don’t get the standard free toothbrush & floss when you leave. However, the place was spotless.
The dentist does the cleaning herself — always a plus for me. She showed me my cavities and a loose filling and told me we didn’t need anesthesia for the loose fillings, and asked if I wanted anything for the cavities. She said that I should be ok without it, but as soon as I felt discomfort I should let her know.
Normally I would have laughed, because clearly fool’s crazy to think I don’t need anything to get my teeth drilled. I mean, I’m the type of person to want laughing gas for a deep cleaning/​scaling (albeit, I just like laughing gas). But by this point, her expertise and careful cleaning had won my trust, so i went along with it.
She did the drilling so skillfully that while there were a few times it was painful, i didn’t end up needing novacaine (which I hate as much as I like laughing gas).
Best part is, these are the best-​feeling fillings I’ve ever had. She went back and meticulously made sure the surface was even compared to the other side of my mouth.
Added bonus — the office also speaks Tagalog, although I don’t so this didn’t really help me =) It’s in the plaza of Seafood City, above Azon’s Restaurant, so you got some good eats there if you feel like giving your dentist some extra work before your appointment.
