Love coming here for all you can eat kbbq. When it gets packed the service is a little slow but the food is really good. It’s better to go for lunch during the week because it’s always packed at night especially on weekends

Good for cheap single people who are unfamiliar with Korean bbq… but very low quality meat and you feel like you’ve smoked a pack of cigarettes when you leave because of poor ventilation. Very pushy and impatient service… Get what you pay for

Been coming here for years. stopped for awhile because the service was becoming poor… Now, the service went from a 4 to a 10 in just the past year. Good food, good service, cheap prices, and an awesome either store manager or new owner named Mike. I’ll be coming back here again more often. They have the white radish for a side too, ya just have to ask.

Went here to eat last night. Parking is small and the wait time was a little longer than they told us, but after getting seated the service was very good. Everytime the waiters walked by they were always checking up to make sure everything was ok with out table. For a korean barbecue spot or was kind of small and the floor is slippery so be careful while walking through the restaurant.

In terms of hole in the wall KBBQ this place is pretty good. Meats are good quality and ban chans are fresh. Ventilation could use some improvement but hey KBBQ requires a disregard to caring how you smell afterwards. This review is under the caveat that you dine with 3+ people. With 2 diners you don’t get the opportunity to cook your own food. You receive«pre cooked» meats that you heat over a skillet and burner which I can’t wrap my head around.

We come here probably 2 times a week if not more for years. We love the staff. The friendliness of the employees is one of the main reasons I come back here. Not to mention the amazing food here. Thank you for always welcoming us when you see us and knowing us by name!

Mr. Lee’s is a good value for AYCE in the OC– I usually just eat bulgogi and salad all night and paired with beer I’m set! For $ 10.99 you get brisket, bulgogi, pork belly, and I think chicken(but no one gets it because it takes a while to cook). The meat is usually decent(although the precooked meat is kinda like taco meat but beef is beef and I will eat it). The service here is on point, more recently I think the owner/manager came out with our beer tower and we poured a small glass for him and got a free pitcher refill in return! The waiters were quick to replace the grill, bring plates of meat, and get drinks/generally comply with customer demands. My only complaints are that the vents are barely working and the place is usually covered in smoke. Also its not the cleanest. But to get all the beef/pork/meat you can eat for 10.99 its hard to not be happy!

I LOVE this place!!! I go there every other week. The only reason why I keep coming here is because the waiter named Hangu, because he actually works fasts, is very polite, and funny. He doesn’t just give you your food and go. AMAZING person. Food is amazing here and is affordable. Ive been to this Korean bbq for a while now and I remember the old manager of the place(which he was an asshole) and it used to be a shitty place so i only went like 2 times and i believe in 2nd chances so i came back and it was totally a different place and and different manager(thank the lord) Every Time i come here i bring different people so they can have more costumers come in. This place is always 5 stars to me

Great place to satisfy that Kbbq craving! I’ve only been here once but it was enough to make me a fan. It is all you can eat for $ 10.99! The place itself is not in the best shape possible but the food makes up for it. I went at lunch time and asked for a table for 2 and they actually let us cook our own meat. Usually if its a table for 2 they bring you the meat already cooked but for some reason they sat us at a normal table. The waiters were all great and refilled our sides and sauces at the perfect time :) Not an amazing experience but it was just enough to satisfy that craving.

Been here twice felt I needed to write a review. Not the best Korean bbq out there but it does the job. It is convenient if you have two or less they will cook it for you(you will need to order drinks). And also bring it out for you. It is always a little bit smokey in there as all smaller Korean bbq places. The service I never had an issue with, always prompt and quick making sure you have enough to eat. The parking lot does tend to fill up pretty quick during business hours, so you may need to find street parking other than that no major complaints about this place

AYCE Kbbq for $ 10.99?! Seriously. YES. You read that right AYCE Kbbq for $ 10.99! Drove to Artesia with my husband to meet with family for dinner at Mr. Lee’s. Located in a small strip mall across the street from a Shell station parking is a bit tight especially if you come at prime dining hours but there is plenty of street parking. It was quite busy when we came here and so we had to wait outside for a bit. Let me tell you that you can smell the KBbq coming out of this restaurant. Literally you even see smoke blowing out from the windows and doors from the grills. The one thing I hate about eating at KBbq restaurants is smelling like the restaurant when you leave. Literally smelling like meat sweats! I mean if I knew ahead of time that we were going to eat this I would have dressed appropriately meaning wear the outfit you care for the least! Haha. I’m serious. Basically if I could wear only a trash bag I would. Upon entry, not the fanciest place you’ve seen it’s actually pretty worn down. There was so much smoke in the restaurant I was like whoa am I going to get carbon monoxide poisoning or what? There was just this haze of smoke when you walk through the restaurant which I mean is expected at these type of restaurants but this was a bit much no? They got our orders pretty quickly at first and our banchan(side dishes) were already on the table when we were seated. First round of canned soda beverages were included with the meal and for the AYCE menu you have 5 choices of meat. It really is a deal if you are on a budget. You are paying for the quality of meat you’re eating and you can taste that quality too. One comment on the rice paper was this was the thickest driest rice paper I’ve had in my life?! It needed some rehydration ASAP. Service was a bit slow and bit hard to get their attention but I’m thinking because they just seemed a bit understaffed since the employees looked as if they were just running all over the place from table to table. I was disgusted at the fact that the servers would be walking down with plates of raw meat stacked and raw juices literally dripping on the floor! It didn’t bother them to stop and wipe it clean afterwards. I guess they just save it for the end of the night where they can just wipe it all down at one time. It was disgusting almost unsanitary to look at luckily I didn’t have anything resting on the ground besides the bottom of my feet. I was appalled but if it works for them and other customers don’t mind it then ok for them! This place is definitely a very popular place amongst the locals since on our way out there was a huge line of people waiting. I mean the price is great but personally I would pay the extra $$$ to eat at an AYCE with better ventilation, ambience, food and service.

This is probably one of my favorite AYCE Korean BBQ. I go here every chance I get and it never disappoints me. Whenever I come here, service is on point and my party and o get seated right away — which is awesome. What’s awesome about this place is that it’s affordable. $ 10.99 per person. And if there’s only two of you, they cook it for you. My favorite meat is the brisket. Very easy to cook and to eat. I love dipping it in oil with salt. Also the fish cakes are tasty! They’re the brown square strips that come with the sides when you sit down. Would I come back here? Yeah I would!

I used to frequent this place long ago and a string of bad experiences drove me away. I believe in second chances so I gave this place another shot. Basically it was the same as a few little improvements. Just your basic 10 dollar ayce kbbq. If you’re a party of two they sit you at a table they cook the meat for you in the back and you eat off a hit stone warmer(not my preference) If you’re in a larger party is the normal table and you cook on your own. The only improvement was someone finally realized how ridiculous it is to run back and forth getting people sauces and side dishes that they put squeeze bottles of all the sauces and kept a stash on each table… genius. With that said, the service isn’t much better than your next ayce spot so don’t expect much! So 3 stars, not bad, not good… but definitely better than before. Way to go Mr. Lee’s

I went back here on a Friday night,(9÷25÷15) and it was great! +5 Stars ***** Wait time for 2 people on a Friday night was only 10 minutes, probably less! We were seated at the pre-cooked meat table because we were a party of two, so whatever we ordered, it was already cooked(this was great for my boyfriend because he was super hungry that night). Our server(Asian guy with a blonde, man bun) was hilarious. He was great! I can tell this guy over achieves, he’s charismatic, sociable, and his customer service was amazing. I tipped him almost half of what our total bill was because we liked him so much! :) I think they hired new people because all the servers are upbeat, loud, and sociable. None of them looked pissed or wanted to hurt you everytime you ask for something – this is rare at AYCE kbbq joints! –1 Star * Because we had pre-cooked meat, I feel like all the oil and fat wasn’t drained out properly. Everytime I took a bite, the meat would coat my mouth with grease… I wasn’t a huge fan of that. :(

No longer $ 9.99 or 8.99 for two! It’s $ 10.99 each person, regardless if you are grilling or not. $ 10.99/person for party of two w/hot pot(pre-cooked) $ 10.99/person for party of 3+ to grill

This is my first Korean BBQ experience! So I really have nothing to compare it to but I loved everything about it… This is my story! :D You might ask,“Why not go to Koreatown(A.K.A.Buena Park) with all those KBBQs on every corner”? Well it was my daughter’s 23rd birthday and she wanted us to try this spot! She had been here with her friends and really liked it! Driving up to the spot, one might think«WTF is this place»? It’s in a tiny shopping center with very limited parking! We found a spot right in front of the restaurant! Walked in and was immediately greeted by a young man that was really down to earth! Well actually the whole staff was very friendly! We were seated and was given these tiny little plates with potato salad(1 scoop), small bowl of salad, small bowl of steamed rice, and a couple of other items! Then the meat started coming! OHMYGOODNESS! It was fun! Cooking, flipping, moving the meat around! The hubby was surprised that it was all you can eat! I mean the meat just kept coming!!! I loved it! The rice paper squares with lettuce, with the meat, with that little bit of salty oil from those tiny little dishes!!! Did I already mention that I loved it! Came out smelling smoky but IDGAF! Lol! I’ll shower when I get home! Great friendly staff! You do get charged a dollar for additional bowls of steamed rice but the first one is free! 4 stars!!! :) TIP – 1st drink is free also!!!
