Specialties
The Arvada Colts are an elite summer collegiate and amateur baseball team based in Arvada, Colorado. The Colts compete in the Rocky Mountain Baseball League and are a member of the National Baseball Congress.
Our primary mission is to support and develop amateur collegiate athletes and aspiring coaches to excel in the sport of baseball and support their participation in national and possible international competition.
Our coaching staff and amateur players are expected to be standouts both in the community and on the field. We believe that hard work and efforts on and off the field will form our players and coaches into future leaders of the community.
History
Established in 2003.
Beyond 2011
The Arvada Colts and it Board of Directors are poised to raise the necessary funds to keep all games free for fans and to bring the highest level of baseball to the City of Arvada.
2011
Arvada Colts, Inc and their board members assumed ownership of the team and moved the team to Arvada with the goal of developing community involvement by partnering with youth organizations, high schools and local businesses. Arvada Colts, Inc became an official 501©3 organization as approved by the IRS. The Arvada Colts won the Rocky Mountain Baseball League (RMBL) as well as the RMBL Regional Tournament. The Arvada Colts went on to finish 12th in NBC World Series in Wichita, KS.
2010
The Colts had a full budget and began recruiting collegiate players from around the country. The Colts finished 7th at the National Baseball Congress World Series.
2009

Tommy S.
Business Owner
Tommy Skul is a native of Arvada. Tommy attended St. Annes, Oberon and graduated from Arvada West in 1992. Tommy played college baseball at Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina.
Tommy was the recruiting coordinator and hitting coach at Metro State which produced two All-Americans and the team ranked as high as 5th in the nation. Tommy also coached the Gunnison Colts over the last season s (2009 – 2010) and had two top ten finishes at the NBC World Series.
Tommy co-owns and operates a Famers Insurance Agency with his wife Aimee. They live in Arvada with two sons (Tommy Jr. and Anthony), two dogs and a cat.
