The experience is well worth the cost! While not the scariest, the venue is amazing, great props and our tour guide, Gavin, was awesome! Gavin made it a great evening!

Do you like having your young, teenage son bullied by older teenage boys that lead the groups through the various props and scenes? Then this is the place for you! Yes, you too can experience the the thrill as one reviewer explained, «Most of my frustration was being told I had to ‘crawl’ through spaces…» Annoying, I ask? Yes, I agree but when my son and his group of friends went, he was told to «bend over» and crawl through the spaces and that he would«be familiar» with that«since he was with his group of gay boyfriends anyway». Meanwhile, another unidentified teenage worker went on to yell vulgar obscenities that began with the letter«F…» toward the group and other groups and that just about rounded up the Friday evening. Gosh, you thought one might have to send your child to public school to be bullied but here, you pay $ 15 dollars! When I picked up my son, we drove directly back and explained to the owner and family what had happened. In all fairness, they were upset to hear about it and we were told they would remove the problem teenager that was responsible. It is a family-owned business and they don’t condone that type of behavior. The other teenager that continually yelled obscenities still works here because he was a little more difficult to identify. Apparently, all the leaders volunteer their time when working here. With volunteers like that, look out Red Cross!

This place smelled really bad when I went. My experience here was more enjoyable then I’ve had elsewhere in regards to dealing with irritating teenagers. For me, it was quite the drive, and I don’t think I would make it again. Most of my frustration was being told I had to ‘crawl’ through spaces and since the ground was a little damp I was not very happy with getting mud all over my pants(plus I have bad knees). The variety here is definitely good; they pretty much had a room for everyone. I have to admit this is probably the best house I’ve been to in Denver so far…

Looking for a haunted house? Field of Corpses has been my absolute favorite in Denver since it opened a few years ago. NO other haunted house has this many props, actors, scenes or is as long as Field of Corpses. This place really is the greatest! Six stars all the way. It is severed-head and hunch-backed shoulders above all the others. Here are the quirks. This is one of the only haunted houses I have ever been to that is cash only. $ 15 per person or $ 25 for the VIP passes that let you skip the line. And while they are open until midnight, I have been turned away when showing up at 11:00 before because the line was too long, even with a VIP pass. So get there early and don’t bring your Amex.
