Meet the Business Owner
Hans S.
Business Owner
Hans has been a professional counselor for over 16 years, and has worked in the field of mental health for over two decades. He grew up in a small college town in Iowa. He comes from a long line of teachers and educators. Hans graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art from Luther College, and earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Arizona State University in 1996.
In 2010, after 14 years away, Hans and his family returned to make Colorado their permanent home. He and his wife previously had moved about the country because of various job and educational opportunities. Hans has also lived in Alaska and Tanzania, East Africa.
From 1996 — 2001, Hans worked as a professional counselor in various public and private mental health agencies. Beginning in 2001, Hans has grown three private practices: From 2001 — 2007 in North Carolina, at Cary Behavioral Health Care. In Pittsburgh, from 2008 — 2010, at Cedar Counseling and Supervision. 2010– Denver/Arvada.
