Park It Right

We had a friend who parked their car overnight with 1 day over expired tags. We are new to the new parking requirements that have been implemented in our community recently, as this has not been a problem for the last 6 years we have lived here. We will be bringing this up with our Home Owners Association.
It is my understanding that the gentleman I was making the payment for was a bit upset about the cost of the release — as the city of Denver only charges $ 75 to remove a boot so the cost is astronomical. At any rate — I called 855−727−5487; Option 1 and spoke with Shelly this morning and paid the $ 135 boot fee and a $ 250 deposit. I received email confirmation that payment was made. I then received a call that the boot had been successfully removed and returned to the gentlemen driving around the lots booting cars in our town-​home community. I realized at that time that she did not inform me on our original call of the turn around time for the return of the deposit and I also wanted to confirm that the car will not be booted for the remainder of the day. We needed to get the owner of the car to come and collected his vehicle to obtain emissions and updated stickers for his plates.
I was very straight forward, calm and professional each time I called Shelly. She was very rude — telling me that she already told the gentleman I made the payment for this information and that I needed to in essence «control» him. Seeing as how I’m the person who paid the bill, it’s shouldn’t be difficult to repeat the information to me so that I have peace of mind that this information is accurate. She then hung up on me. This is very unprofessional. I’m very upset by this.
I’m sure working in this industry your call center often deal with upset clients — as these are not clients by choice. But — the fact of the matter is you still need to maintain a calm and professional demeanor. Especially if the person you are speaking with isn’t yelling at you and merely asking the necessary questions that should have been offered in the initial call so that your client has all of the information needed.
I will be making further complaints with DORA, the HOA that hired you and any other social means so there will be a record of this should any other members of our community feel they have been mistreated.

Here we go again. Today, my husband’s vehicle was booted… apparently for double parking.(the legal definition of double parking is to park next to a vehicle that is parked next to the curb… this is not double parking!!) His passenger tires are ONE THE LINE, which still left him less than 18 inches to exit the vehicle. The parking spaces at our complex are entirely too close together. There is no way to legally park without being on the line if you intend to actually exit your vehicle. According to Aurora city code, parking spaces are supposed to be a minimum of 9 feet in width. The spaces here are 8 feet. I contacted Aurora police, who said that a vehicle parked on the line is not considered over the line and is not ticketed. Of course, Park it Right is not going to listen to anything I say. they insist that it is all our fault. So, I called Aurora City Manager, who confirmed that the spots are too close, then my HOA, who asked for my pictures, and now, I will be making a complaint to the BBB on top of this. This towing company is the worst for customer service, they do not know the laws, and they will destroy any relations you have with your residents. Do not hire them to manage your property parking. You will regret it!

If I could give this horrible company negative stars,. Joel Perri thinks they are the inventor of the remote release boot?! Ok, Joel! And I’m the tooth fairy. Joel is a horrible person! Joel sent me this email after they booted my vehicle illegally! It was illegal for Park it Right Company to boot my car because I was given no citation or warning. I legally had 72 hours to move my vehicle, but Park it Right company booted my car after only a couple of hours. My vehicle was not hindering anyone. I did not park on a handicap nor did I block emergency vehicle entrances or for other residents to easily travel past me. Regardless, if the company’s HUGE mistake I win in the end! In your face Park It Right!

«Good Morning,
It is unfortunate that you feel threatening us with legal action is warranted when you are the one clearly at fault. Your statement about your son is such a cheap unwarranted claim when all you have to do is comply with the parking rules. Especially since you have been given two options to have the vehicle boot removed. We take multiple pictures with GPS location to ensure that we have proof of the violation. Our company was specifically hired to deal with people like you that do not park where they are supposed to. You have been given two options on how to get the boot removed. You have until this evening to have the boot removed or the vehicle will be towed. It is that fact that you should be appreciative that we booted you instead of impounding your vehicle by tow truck.

An hour later I had the boot removed. I hope the employees enjoyed coming out twice! Hahaha! I win! It’s unfortunate that there was no where else for me to park. If they would have viewed their GPS more carefully they would have clearly seen that I am in no way in anyone’s way of parking nor driving through the lot. And I would never «use» my son as an excuse to park illegally. I look out for his safety and parking where I did was the safest most responsible decision I could’ve made. Don’t ever accuse me of using my son! Joel has no right to talk to me in that matter! I pay rent here on private property for rent including an available parking spot in my complex. That was not available to me, hence the complex had zoned off parking spaces that were to be available to me. There was no other option but to make the choice I did. And yes if something were to happen to my son I would be helpless. The fact I just moved to the state of Colorado without family I would know no one to contact for a ride. If something God for bid happened to my son I would have to wait for an ambulance. I hope you don’t have children you sound like a heartless selfish individual.

Based solely on their horrible costumer service and complete disregard for common courtesy I shall give you one star, which is actually a lot nicer than you deserve.
I called to ask questions about my friends vehicle who had just been booted, I was not rude, condescending or unreasonable in any of my questions. Since I have been in costumer service for a very LONG time I understand that people can suck really bad, so I try to approach every situation with kindness. I understand when people ask the same questions over and over again it can be frustrating and infuriating, but again you have to put yourself in the «be the bigger person mentality» Now with that being said.
The manager /​owner I had the displeasure of speaking with was probably the rudest person I have ever come across, and again I work in costumer service so that’s saying a lot! In the mist of me wanting to get clarification as to their policy I was hit with «I don’t understand what is so difficult about this». «How old are you?!» «Did you ever go to school?!» «I have a business to run and you’re sitting here wasting my time» When I asked to speak with the owner she said «guess what? I am the owner, you can’t do shit»
I was completely appalled by what this woman was saying to me. Never ever ever in my life has anybody especially a manager /​owner ever spoken to me this way while I was being completely polite and trying to ask a question.
I hope that potential businesses or business owners trying to search out boot /​towing vendors to service their properties read this and understand that being associated with these people would be a horrible idea. Your residents or costumers having to deal with Park it Right even when in the wrong will be spoken to with zero respect or courtesy.
I hope this message reaches the incredibly rude and nasty person I spoke to today.
Courteous treatment will make a costumer a walking advertisement, imagine what the opposite will do.
