Pouw & Associates, Inc. is a professional organization offering a diversified expertise in Architecture, Planning, and Interior Design. Located in Arvada, Colorado, the firm has served a wide variety of clients in the Rocky Mountain region and western United States. Founded in 1977 by Stanley Pouw as a multi-​disciplined design firm, the practice has expanded to deal with the increasingly complex challenges of urban design, technology, environmental impact, project management, and construction techniques in order to better respond to the professional needs of our clients.

Business Owner

Stanley Pouw founded Pouw & Associates in 1977 to practice architecture, planning, and interior design. Under Stan’s leadership, the firm has worked in the private and public sectors and has been successful in designing over 100 million square feet of governmental, office, commercial, institutional, residential, and mixed-​use projects.

Awards earned by the firm represent recognition form a cross-​section of the building industry, including the construction trades, sales industry, and professional peer groups. Some of the recent awards include a National and a Denver Chapter AIA award for the Limon Fire and Rescue Facility and a Denver Chapter AIA award for Hunter Douglas Corporate Headquarters. In 1992, Pouw & Associates was also named Minority Business of the Year by the Denver Chamber of Commerce sponsored by the Denver Post. 1995 Design for Transportation Honor Award for Denver International Airport. 1998 Architectural Merit Award for Dora Moore Elementary School by the Rocky Mou
