Taunaz Tavern

This place is awesome! They have good food and good drinks the dollar beer drink special on Monday is where it’s at! They also have giant beer pong and a Nintendo that you can play while you enjoy your food and drink, as well as skeeball and a nice pool table. I would recommend this place to any local person, or anyone who is passing by.

I had a gotten a groupon for this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. Mostly bar customers when we came in for lunch. The bartender was also our waitress, she kept up well food took a little while to be served to our table. I had the BBBlt which was Extra bacon blt, the bacon was crisp to perfection the bread was toasted just enough, whole sandwich was one of the best BLTS I have ever had.

I came to this place for lunch with family and we were the only ones to order food, all the other people were drinking at the bar. The barmaid/​waitress took our order quickly but the food took around 40 minutes to arrive at our table. I had the hamburger which was typical bar food, nothing special. unless youre coming here to drink, Id say pass this place for something better.

Great neighborhood bar! Friendly staff, and the food is good. Plenty of TV’s to catch the game, and a few pool tables as well. They have some decent bands, which is great.

Called Dec 26^th to ask about New Years celebrations, we have been going there for years with our group of 10 people. Have heard some great bands and enjoyed their food. Gal said she only works Saturdays and doesn’t know, to call back. Called Dec 28^th, different gal answered, she said not sure. Nothing more, just don’t know. Guess our tradition is over. So disappointed in Taunaz as it is only a few days away and now we have to find other plans.

Moved in the neighborhood and was excited to have a local place. My visits this past summer were positive but I can’t say that now. When you are sitting at the bar waiting to order and the bartender is on her phone or chatting w/​other guest totally ignoring you — and this happened more than once — then it’s time to say something. Unfortunately the bartender that I know is good only works there part-​time on Thursday days. Food also has gone down in quality and after multiple tries, I no longer order food here and tend to make the drive to Olde Town instead of this place. I don’t normally critique bar food but this place advertises having the best burger in Arvada.

Three Monthes ago I had left a review on Taunaz Tavren. I Would like to now post that I was contacted by there General Manager questioning our review. He stated he was very upset also with our complaint asked a few questions so that he would be able to correct the problem. He also stated that he would like for us to come back and give them a chance to prove to us that they can provide the services that they would like to be known for. Dang right I will go back. The General Manager (Mr. Ken Ziegler) took the time to contact us. So in return we will give them another chance. By the way the Barbeque is delicious.

I spent Valentines day here and it was a blast! They had games, a good crowd and a one man band/​dj. The dj was very talented and we didn’t even have to pay to get in. My favorite places are a place where drinks are cheap and the people are nice. I’m defiantly adding this as a favorite!

I’d like to review the place in its entirety, however, could not get service for the SECOND visit so we walked out, again. This makes two Friday nights where actually having STAFF to wait on the customers didn’t happen. Also, the staff that was there, including the bartender was too busy with the regulars to actually LOOK around to see if there were NEW customers to wait on. Again, for the SECOND time, one of us stood at the bar to order our drinks, but alas, the bartendar could not contain her chatter with the regulars to simply ask for our order. I can only wait so long for someone who’s job it is to wait on people to stop talking and do just that.
Too bad, neighborhood place which would be good, but done with poor service from the get go.

Looks a little divey but you should give it a try. Games to play while you drink and the people are very nice. Try the ribs if you get there before 8:30 or anything smoked really.
