Click Construction and Remodeling

After dragging our feet on redoing our kitchen, we found Click Construction. Alan responds quickly and will come out to put an estimate together. It was easy and hassle free. Especially since we knew generally what we wanted. Throughout the process Alan was quick to respond to questions and inquiries. We had the cabinets painted and they were masterfully done by Eli. New sink, countertop, backsplash really transformed the kitchen. Would use Click again for anything. Good to have on the roster. You can see before and after photos below.

I recently had a powder room completed by Click Construction. The powder room had a rough that done by the builder so Alan and his team had a few challenges on their hands due to the existing layout. Alan addressed all of the issues with the powder room and I am extremely pleased with the results.
The team installed drywall, sanded and painted the walls and ceiling, fixed the plumbing, completed electrical work and installed the vanity, toilet, and flooring.
Alan provided me with daily updates on the project and he made sure I was happy with every detail of the bathroom. He was extremely patient and understood exactly what I wanted. I am very particular about my home and I stressed to Alan how important it was for me to have every perfect. Alan understood and reassured me that he would make sure I was happy with the results. Alan and his team exceeded my expectations which is pretty hard to do :)
I recommend Click Construction for anyone looking for a quality contractor to remodel their home. I will definitely be using Click Construction for future projects in my home.

After doing a little bit of searching online through Google and then Unilocal I decided to first try Home Depot. They gave me an outrageous estimate to do cabinet refacing. I found Click Construction and then called later the same day after Home Depot came by. Alan answered and came right over within 15 minutes to discuss what we wanted to do and helped us figure out something that would work within our budget.
They did a great job. I worked with Alan on the contracting side of things and then a guy named Eliazar did a lot of the work and it was well done. Eliazar was also very nice and did a good job cleaning up after each day and gave my father-​in-​law (he was staying with us at the time the work was completed) updates on the progress at the end of each day. We live in a townhouse and they repainted our cabinets, replaced the backsplash, and installed new granite countertop (replaced old granite countertop).
Overall I was very please with the work and Alan was very responsive. Few things I will note though is that I had to ask a lot of questions throughout the process on scheduling, timing of the work, arrival time of crew, etc. It would have been helpful to have a lot of that information provided in writing upfront along with the contract. We spoke through things in general, but didn’t get a lot of specifics until later on when I had to text/​call Alan a few times.
I think the pricing was fair and Alan was certainly willing to work with us on that which I greatly appreciated. Overall I would definitely hire them again to do other work.

Our rental property in VA needed a new shower and Click came through and did a great job for a good price! They were able to get it done quickly and keep my tenant happy. They sent lots of pictures and called with updates so that I didn’t have to drive there and check up on it myself. It saved me a lot of time because we life in a different state. We will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend!

After researching for a good construction company for a few months because I had a bad experience in the past. I was reading so many reviews for so many companies. I came across Click Construction and Remodeling here on Unilocal and they had 4 ½ stars, I decided to contact the company. I was in contact with Alan within the hour via e-​mail. I was describing to him my needs for construction, which was constructing a new half bath in my basement. Alan not only said they could do it the way I wanted but they could do it exactly how I wanted. In which, I originally wanted a half bath under the basement stairs. I scheduled a time for Alan to come out and see the space. After seeing the space he reconfirmed what I wanted complete was attainable. He did suggest a full bathroom with a standing shower could be better for the space. While it would cost a little more but it was not a pressured suggestion. I told him I would think it over a let him know, he understood and let it go.
After having a few contractors come and give me estimates. I decided Click Construction was the better fit. I also decided to go with Alan’s suggestion of a full bath because it made more sense as I thought about what he said. In doing so I needed more space and that required my laundry room being moved. With such a big job in my head I thought that would be expensive but Alan assured it would not be and he came through with that assurance. Click Construction and Remodeling is one of the most competitive construction companies in this area. Throughout the remodeling process, it was great and effortless. I picked out the vanity, lighting, toilet, flooring and paint. It all came together beautifully.
Alan is amazing, the energy he gives off and very positive and sprinted. Also, when you need him he is there for you to get in touch with him. He makes time around your schedule to meet with you. The guys he has working for him are nice, respectful and clean. They make sure they clean up or straighten up on a daily basis. When all said and done, the only thing you have to supply on your own is the toilet paper and paint. They think of everything that you may need. I would and will recommend Click Construction and Remodeling to family and friends. I’m thinking of even updating my upstairs bathroom now ;)

You should Hire Click Construction today. I found Click on Unilocal,and was really happy with them. Alan, the owner, was great to work with and a genuinely good guy — not something you find in every contractor. His suggestions about materials and ground plans were spot on and made the whole project better. His crew was everything you could want — professional, courteous, timely. They got the job done on time and on budget and everything they touched looks amazing.
My project consisted of framing and finishing an unfinished basement including adding a new bathroom, new stairs, building closet space and a laundry room and remodeling another bathroom. When I started shopping for a contractor, I wasn’t at all sure how the basement would be laid out, and I was glad to have Alan’s help. He was more engaged than any other contractors I talked to, and really listened to my concerns. He has great instincts for how to maximize a space’s potential, and make it easy and comfortable to move about.
I was constantly impressed with the crew. They made great progress every day, and they did it without cutting any corners. From the big stuff like framing walls to the little stuff like bathroom finishes, everything looks absolutely top notch. On top of that, they were all true pros. They made sure things were clean at the end of every day, and were just generally respectful, positive people. If you have to have workers in your house everyday for weeks on end, these are the ones you want.
I would be happy to hire Click again.

We found Alan and team through Unilocal,and we couldn’t be more pleased. Alan picked up where another contractor dropped the ball and revamped the original contractor’s poor job in our home gym, and then installed a full bathroom (both in the basement). The team was friendly and considerate and punctual. Alan (owner) was available every step of the way. We especially liked how he checked in every weekend to review the schedule for the following week. Beautiful work, reasonable price, and quality job!

Enjoyed working with Alan and his crew. They provided excellent recommendations for design and used high quality materials.

I used Click for a kitchen remodel recently. We were very, very happy overall with the end result. Click did new 12×24 ceramic tile flooring, sanded/​repainted/​installed new hardware on my cabinets (a really big job that looks amazingly brand new now), installed a new microwave, backsplash with glass mosaic accent and extended my laundry area to give it a little more functional space.
Overall, they did a really good job and the owner Alan is a very likable guy with a good creative vision for how to transform your space. His workers toil from the time they arrive until they leave pretty much nonstop.
There were a couple very minor hiccups toward the end of the project, but it means a lot to me that the owner of Click made personal trips to my home and made every effort to make things right and gets very involved in customer service, which really resulted in happy customers with a great end product. I would certainly consider working with Click in the future.

We recently used Click Construction to remodel almost our entire house. Alan and his staff were true professionals. We are very pleased with the finished product.

We found Alan and his team through Unilocal,and we absolutely love their work. They are nice, friendly, efficient, and very detail oriented. Once they started to work on our kitchen, they were timely, clean, and upfront about all the tasks they had to perform. Our project consisted of kitchen cabinet refacing and painting. I’m not kidding when I say that our kitchen was a hot mess (the cabinet doors were outdated and painted green, and were falling if for the hinges). Thanks to Alan’s advice, it looks fresh and up to date. We plan on hiring them again for future projects.
As for the pricing, they are very reasonable. We were quoted previously, and it was much higher for something more simple.
We are very happy with Click.

My husband and I recently bought our first house and had a couple major items we needed fixed right away, our deck was not up to code and all the windows needed replacing. We contacted Click Construction based on the Unilocal reviews and have been very happy with the results. The windows look great and only took 4 weeks from the time we signed the contract to the day they were installed. The deck is now safe and looks better as we had them remove 1 of the posts that was in the middle of our patio. Alan and Vern are great to work with and very responsive. We look forward to tackling more projects with them next year.

Alan, Verne and crew just finished up a bathroom remodel this week. I chose Click after reviewing 5 others because Alan was always quick to respond, their estimate was right in the middle and he brings the samples to you-​you don’t have to go to any showrooms, which was a big bonus for someone with little toddlers and a crazy work schedule. The work crew was very friendly, responsive and respectful of nap time-​which NEVER happens! I did have to remind them in their daily cleanup to follow up on some adjacent spaces that accumulated dust and concrete debris and for my next bathroom remodel with them I’ll probably ask for more choices for countertops and tiling (which I’m sure he would easily provide) but overall I’m very happy with their professionalism, friendly manner and the diligence of the crew. I’m excited to work with them again!

We found Alan on Unilocal when searching for a new contractor. We had met with others previously who disappeared after the initial meeting. Alan, on the other hand, was very responsive from day one and listened to our ideas for what needed to be done to the house. We started with a smaller project — replacing our front door and storm door. Alan and his team did a great job and were very pleasant to work with. They also helped secure the approval of our homeowners’ association.
We look forward to continuing to work with Alan and his team on future projects!

Bogus. I did not have a great experience with Click Construction. Why? Because they didn’t show up for an appointment to sign a contract, nor did they notify me that they couldn’t make it. Nor did they call the next few days after that to apologize. Impressive.
Of the conversations I did have prior to the skipped appointment, I found Alan to be entertaining to talk to but he did not display the moxy of someone who worked in construction — that is, someone who did the work or supervised crews — prior to forming his own company. Rather, he talked like a salesman who may have worked for a construction company. My project presented one serious structural problem and another framing issue that he expressed absolutely no curiosity about nor knowledge of how his crew would solve it. That raised a flag. The other thing that raised a flag is the pressure he placed on me to accommodate filling his crew’s schedule rather than me, the customer. The impression left is that it’s all about Alan and his cash flow. And the fact that they were available to start in a week — during the height of remodeling season — also raised flags because it’s an old cliché about unbusy contractors. IMO, Click Construction is a mirage and «buys» reviews on Unilocal and elsewhere.

We met with Click Construction based solely on their reviews on Unilocal.After talking with the company, we were excited about their impressive resume of jobs, as well as their ideas relating to finishing our basement. The quote given was very reasonable given the extensive scope of work, so we hired them… and are so very grateful we did!
The completed basement is amazing… all the work was done timely, the crew was very professional and respective of our schedules, great with my dog, and the finished product maintains beautiful, custom detail with quality workmanship.
Click completed the full build out of our basement (including new bedroom and bathroom, gym, storage space, and full living area); as well as completed a brand new custom bar. They were very helpful with tips on cost saving steps where applicable, and also chose amazing tile samples and designed the bar exactly to our specification.
I would highly recommend Click Construction, and plan on being repeat customers!

We selected Click Construction to repair and replace three posts on the front porch. In addition, after meeting and talking with the owner, Alan, we decided to do a kitchen and two bath remodel. Alan offered great ideas and solutions to update our 30 year old house.
The crew doing our work was outstanding. They were punctual, personable and neat. They vacuumed every day at the end of their work day.
As an added bonus, Alan knows current decorating trends, and has great taste. We really appreciated his follow-​up skills. He worked with us until

I hired Click Construction because of their reviews on Unilocal and I am SO happy I did. I had a commercial project (Karma Salon in Ashburn) and Alan exceeded our expectations. I had met with a few contractors and Alan was by far the best and considerate of our budget. He went out of his way to help us and recommend options that would better suit us. We are extremely happy with the turnout of the salon, it’s beautiful thanks to Alan! I wish I could give Click more than 5 stars. I will be hiring them for my home as well!

We hired Click Construction after we fired another contractor that had started on home repairs with seemingly no end in sight. Alan came in promptly and provided us with an accurate estimate of the amount of work remaining, and at a lower cost. The final project, which included outside deck repairs, the selection of sliding glass doors, and subsequent installation of trim and floor boards, looks fantastic!
At the same time, we had a leaky tiles in one of our bathrooms, and asked Alan to completely replace all tiles in the shower and floor. Alan provided us with a very nice selection of tiles to choose from. His crew completed the bathroom work very quickly, and the bathroom looks amazing!
Alan and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating to our busy schedule. I will surely be using Click Construction for future improvements.

I recently had my third remodeling job done by Click Construction this year. I AM SO PLEASED! I was fortunate enough to deal with the owner Alan and he designed me a very functional closet. I was in dire need of space and now I can hang up all my work clothes as well my shoes and pocket books. The crew were so nice and tidy. Every morning at 8 am they were at my door and did a wonderful job cleaning up when they left. I have allergies and not once was I affected. I have two pets and the crew paid attention to them that they wouldn’t run out the door. I am now going thru a kitchen design for the fall and I can’t wait to get it started. I once again highly recommend Click Construction because I am service oriented. And the service they offer was wonderful.
