I couldn’t understand the lady at all when she asked me what I wanted after I showed her a picture of highlights that had more color at the bottom and tiny strips at the top. The man doing my hair puts the color in and everything looks great until I go home and realize that he OMBRED it and only in the back… completely Untouching the front of my hair which I wanted done the most And barely highlighting the top. My hair now only looks mostly black which it did before with ombré underneath. Very unhappy with the results after I paid 100 for it. When I realized it was all Asians working I got skeptical because I knew they wouldn’t understand me and I wouldn’t understand them and of course. that happened. Will definentely go somewhere else next time.

My entire family has been going to Ann for years. She always takes me at the last minute. I am so happy with my new hair color and highlights! She is the best! She is professional fair and honest. I appreciate her recommendations. My family and I have remained loyal to Anne because of the great job she does.

My daughter scheduled a hair color at the salon based on recommendations. She used the wrong terminology when making the appointment, and when Anne found out the mistake she not only wouldn’t let it go, but then started speaking in a different language and laughing at my daughter. My daughter apologized but that was not good enough. Anne then went off on her again. That’s not how you treat customers or teens. Shame on you. Needless to say we did not stay. I’d give less than a star if possible.

Discovered this lovely salon on the recommendation of a friend. I had been going to a fancy swankier salon in Lansdowne where the people are beautiful but the service was okay, and clearly over priced. Started going to Stylist Hue at Divine who not only knew exactly how to color my hair perfectly but made recommendations on how to better my look. A little over a year later, my hair has looked the best it ever has! The salon accommodates changed appointments, never runs late, and always works with their clients to make sure they are happy. Most importantly, you can fit this salon into any budget. I heard it gets crowded on the weekends, so I recommend going during the week.

I don’t agree with the negative reviews of this salon. I just received an excellent haircut and color from Ann. It’s difficult to find someone who cuts and styles short hair well, and Ann did just that. Most stylists cut my hair too short, but Ann listened to my request and did exactly as I had asked.
This was my first visit, but my daughter has been going to this salon and Ann for several years with nothing but praise for her haircuts.
The salon was clean and reasonably priced.

So, where do I begin? I went to this salon and inquired about a keratin treatment (pricing, details) and I was told they charged about $ 200 for the treatment. Being as I have gotten kertain treatments for years at other salons, I thought that was incredibly cheap considering I have long and very thick hair. The woman at the front desk told me that one of the stylists could take me right away. She sat me in the chair and began smearing this awful smelling substance on my beautiful long hair. When I asked the woman what kind of brand she was using she refused to tell me or let me see the bottle, she even went as far as to try and hide it under a towel. I told her to wash it out of my hair immediately because I suspected it was a relaxing treatment and not keratin. So she took me over to the sink to wash it out of my hair and I literally could hear my hair snapping off in the sink like rubber bands!!! And no im not talking like a half an inch of breakage… Im talking like six inches of my hair was MELTED off. I got up to leave and the woman at the front desk told me the service would be $ 200 dollars, I told her I was not going to pay because they LIED about the services they provide to try and make a quick buck. I called the better business bureau, and also informed them that none of their business licenses (which are required by law to be visible to all clientele) were not displayed. Will not ever recommend this place to anyone who wants to keep their hair.

used a chemical straightening treatment on my hair claiming it to be anti_​frizz. didnt mention it was chemical or do a test patch, now my hair is falling out in chunks ive never had such hairfall before. dont go to divine they will spoil your hair

Got my eyebrows waxed yesterday — lady was so nice and she took her time with my long eyebrows! Tweezed to perfection.

I love my hair and so do these ladies. They do a get job with blow outs and color!!! I highly recommend them.

I feel very lucky to have found Divine Hair Salon in Ashbun, VA. Hue, my hairdresser, is a Master Hair Stylist, inventive, intuitive and great at her craft, I am consistantly happy with my hair color and her creative styling (blow drys) are never disappointing, Hair products are awesome, still not certain how she does things so comfortably and quickly, but I am very happy. Highly recommend.
