Goose Creek Village Dental

I was staying in the area for a month or so and had the misfortune to break a tooth. Thankfully I found Goose Creek Dental. The office staff got me in quickly, made sure my insurance would cover the work, and made me feel welcome. Dr Michael took his time explaining my options and gave his recommendation. He fixed me up painlessly. The next day I got a call to see if I was doing ok. Many thanks for seeing me on short notice and being warm and professional. Oh this all happened between Christmas and New Year.

So I do not like to go see dentists, ever. I usually dread my appt and try to rationalize not going. Alas, I kept my appt. with Dr. Sue (?) and I’m thankful. First off, the practice is very homey feeling, I got to watch HGTV while they were working in my mouth, and everyone was very nice. I’m a huge wuss. My teeth are sensitive and I don’t like anyone in there messing around (like most people I presume!) I only had two moments of very fast uncomfortableness, both times she sensed it and stopped doing what she was doing and asked if I was ok. Seriously. Loved that.
Also — she took pictures inside my mouth to show me what was up. I’ve never seen the inside of my mouth so closely (Eiw) but I got to see exactly the problem with the areas she was concerned with.
Very professional, very nice, very gentle. Total win in my book! I highly recommend this practice.

Outstanding. Dr’s Sue and Michael are very personable, gentle and knowledgeable, taking time to explain treatment options and procedures. Having visited a couple other offices who presented aggressive treatment plans, I was reassured by their more conservative approach. Very pleased with my own experience and their level of integrity, I took my young son to see them: the doctors and team were so good with him! This is an outstanding family dental practice, committed to high qualities of service and results. Highest recommendation!

After receiving a referral from a specialist to this practice, I finally had a positive experience at this new dentist practice! It has been a relief since I had dealt with bigger and less caring network dentist practices in the past. Both doctors S. Kim and M. Kim (a couple run practice, family friendly) were gentle, thorough, and professional in my dental checkup, xrays, and cavity procedures. Dr. M. Kim seems to have more available hours and I was pleased with both practitioners who are experienced.
The office is fairly new since Sept 2014 and on the second floor (building entry is diagonal from where the office is located, up the outside flight of stairs). There is street parking in front and I think parking around the back. They have a modern design and welcome kids to the practice.
They were very understanding when I was running a few minutes late and I was impressed with the level of detail they focused on in relation to my multiple dental needs, the xrays were super clear to see and used top of the notch technology to zoom in on my problem areas.
No one likes to get numbed but Dr. M. Kim was gentle so that I did not feel as uncomfortable. I wish the numbing took less longer than it did but not sure if that is just how it is. He often checked how I was doing throughout the process and I feel like my cavity did not stand a chance after the filling was complete.
The dental assistants were friendly and even remembered my favorite cable channel on the TV we get to watch while being examined.
They seem to accept most dental plans and ask them for a treatment plan if you need any work done. They seem to have some Saturday hours.
