*Our Performance Program is the best way for students to get the full School of Rock experience. It includes private lessons on guitar, bass, drums, piano/keys or vocals and weekly band rehearsals to prepare students for live shows at real rock venues. The authentic on-stage experience teaches more than musicianship — kids gain outstanding teamwork skills and confidence while having fun with their friends. *
*School of Rock offers programs for preschoolers, kids, teens and adults of all skill levels. Kids just beginning their musical journey can participate in our Rookies, Rock 101 or Lessons+ programs to get a feel for their chosen instrument, the dynamics of group performance and fundamentals of music theory in preparation for our Performance Program. Top students can also audition for our prestigious AllStars program to experience a real concert tour.*

History
Established in 2008.
Since 1998 the School of Rock has been saving rock & roll, one kid at a time. We’ve helped thousands of kids learn how to rock, and develop a lifelong love of music. In 2007 we arrived in Vienna, Virginia and then in 2008 we added our Ashburn Studio — we now have a thriving community of young musicians around the DC Betlway.
