Super Giant

This store is very poorly managed. I’ve been going to this store since it first opened and they’ve always had nice, friendly managers but I’ve never seen the current manager ever talk to or acknowledge a customer. I have seen him turn and walk away as I stood at the deli section with no one anywhere in sight. I had to walk to the front to ask a checker to get someone back there. This happens all the time.
Do not buy cakes here. It appears they are all shipped in and are frozen.
They do not stay on top of the produce, fish, or meat section. The fish section of the store often smells horrible. You take a risk with the meats here. There used to be a nice guy in the meat section who I could get to do actual butchering and it appears that he’s gone now. Its saving grace is that is isn’t as busy as any of the other grocery stores in Ashburn.

Who doesn’t like Super Giant? I am not sure what makes this store so «super» verses the regular Giants. It seems a little bigger than the other Giant grocery stores in the area. This store is clean and inviting. Probably one of the best Giants in the area. The produce is fresh and delicious. Giant generally isn’t my favorite grocery store to shop in, but it sure beats that horrible Harris Teeter. I feel like Giant’s prices are somewhere mid-​range not as expensive as Harris Teeter, but not as cheap as Wegman’s. I will hit here in a pinch, but honestly would rather drive the extra few minutes to Wegman’s as long as it isn’t rush hour!
