They make instruments that are perfect for the aspiring or beginner musician along with instruments for the experienced player. They teach a someone that has never played and instrument before to play a song in just a few minutes. History

Established in 2012.

The history of Appalachian Strings goes back many years when owner and founder Aaron Williams started to be trained by his father in the art of handcrafting stringed musical instruments. His father is a master craftsman in many different mediums of art however, due to Aaron’s love of acoustic music, he was drawn to the art of designing and constructing musical instruments more than any other medium. After many years of tutteledge and collaboration with his father, he decided to launch Appalchian Strings in 2012. Appalachian Strings is based out of Asheville and their retail showroom is located in the historic Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville.
