Pain, posture, performance, and presence are all improved by studying the Alexander Technique. You can learn to undo patterns of physical tension, free your breath and voice, and gain poise and confidence by improving balance and coordination in all activities.
Appointment times are available to suit a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends. A travel fee applies to home/workplace visits.
History
Established in 2009.
The Alexander Technique is used by surgeons, athletes, musicians, performers, and people from all walks of life to improve stamina, lessen tension/pain, prevent or rehabilitate from injury, and develop a confident presence.
I teach individuals, in my office or at their home or workplace, how to prevent and change tension patterns so they move with more ease.
Seasonal group classes are offered independently and through UNCA/OLLI, for students wanting an introduction to the Technique or to support the new movement patterns explored in private lessons.
