Mr. Dison began his studies in martial arts in 1998. He started in Taekwondo under Kevin Heckert (5th deg.), earned his blackbelt, and became an instructor. After moving to college he got the opportunity to work with other blackbelts from different systems and explored some new styles, such as Hapkido, Shotokan, and Jeet Quan Do.
Later he moved to Memphis where he studied under Chris Wiley (5th deg.) learning PasaRyu, as well as Yin Baguazhang.
In 2006 he moved to Asheville and began studying Chen Tai Chi under Sifu Frank Paolillo. In the time that followed, he learned the styles of Dragon Baguazhang, Pao Choi, Praying Mantis, and Tao.
Mr. Dison continues to train and explore new material. As a martial artist one can always grow. There are no limits, and mastery has infinite depths.
