We are a cage free grooming, daycare and boarding facility. Having opened in 1999, HoTD pampers and primps South Asheville’s dogs while they frolic and play or just hang out. Our dog loving staff oversees them 24 hours a day, with a small «apartment» on site.

History

Established in 1999.

Opened by Michelle (HIrsch) Hart on June 15, 1999, HoTD began as a one woman shop. Having just graduated from grooming school, she quickly put all of her new skills to use! As the business grew, she began to take on apprentices. She taught them what she knew and supervised their work. She attended seminars, trade shows and lectures to further her education and hone her skills. She began competing in 2005 and has a number of wins and placements to her name.

In 2007, the business moved and expanded becoming a licensed kennel and daycare, overseen by the Department of Agriculture. Our cage free status was official!

Hart takes great pride in the staff she has assembled. There are now ten employees and groomers who are eager to meet and pamper your dog!
