I really want to like this place but I have my reservations. Overall, the full set gel I received I like. But the service was not the best. When I get my nails done, I want it to be relaxing. At first it was fun. Then the gentleman was filing my nails with the electric nail file. He repeatedly told me to not move my hand. I was as still as a statue. His hand slipped and the file nicked my cuticle. He rolled his eyes and gave me a very rude look. I said «I did not move.» He kept giving me this glare and not in a joking way. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I was very tense and just wanted the process over. He ended up doing a great job but I will probably go back to KT nails on the west side in the future.

Mind you, I have been to this place at least 10 times to get my nails done, and introduced others to it.
I chose a bright orange color, since it’s the Summer. To my horror, when I got outside into the harsh day light, it is NEON GLOW IN THE DARK BRIGHT ORANGE.
Ah, I went back and asked them to change the color.
They wanted to charge me. Sorry but I just think that’s bad customer service. Do you?
They should have told me the color was glow in the dark. It didn’t look that harsh in the dark salon, and the hostess even admitted she knew the color I was talking about.
It’s basically $ 30 down the drain because as I explained, I can’t wear glow in the dark colors to work, it’s not professional. I tipped the guy $ 5. I won’t go back. ever.

I always do my own nails. They are beautiful and healthy. Sometimes I like to treat myself and have them done. I stopped in and took a look at the colors. When the girl asked me what I wanted done I told her. She said she couldn’t do it. I assume. She «couldn’t» do it. Because it would be less time and work then she wanted to be able to charge for. So needless to say I walked next door to Sally’s and bought a new color and went home to do what she «couldn’t!» Also when I spoke to the girls at Sally’s about it, they said they used to go there too. Until they stopped listening to what they had to say. Since when do you pay for a service and not get to have any say say on how you want it done?

Great! Beautiful Décor, friendly atmosphere, very relaxing chairs, no waiting. as soon as I sat down I was up.
