Came across this this restaurant as we were driving around and thought we would give it a try for lunch as we love little hole in the wall places. It was neat inside. The menu is small with one daily special. Todays was country style steak which my husband ordered. Everything was just okay. The food was okay. The service was okay. Nothing great. Nothing I would feel like I needed to come back for. I wanted really badly to love this place, but it was just okay.

My family reunion party came here for breakfast and accommodations were made for our party of thirteen. The waiter was VERY nice and had a lot of personality, the atmosphere calm and homey feeling. The whole place was decorated with vintage artifacts and quirky items. Service time was timely for our group and the food was great. Most of us got the veggie omelet with a few add-ons and were very pleased at the flavor. The sausage had a little spice after swallowing and the bacon was just the right amount of chewy and crunchy. The salsa was a little watery but still had a lot of flavor. The atmosphere was quiet with old big band tunes playing in the background. The only criticism I have is that we had to pay more for the add-ons and the menu left a little to be imagined(it was a bit short), but the prices weren’t bad and the service and food were very good. I would definitely come back for a nice breakfast/lunch/brunch with others. :) Very satisfying.

Great thick sausage biscuit… clearly hand patted patty. Biscuits fresh baked but not home made. Has daily specials like home fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and smoked pork BBQ when nicer outside. Really nice people and service. Atmosphere is a place filled with musical instruments, old signs, quilt, globe, toys darts, and a wide variety of old tables and chairs. They passed the sausage biscuit test except for the made from scratch part. Menu is small but looks fun.
