Yellow Cab

Recommended to me by the lady at the desk at the Residence Inn. Old school she wrote down on a piece of paper the name & number.
I called them for a ride to downtown and was picked up almost immediately.
I asked the dude for a good place to go for a tasty micro-​brew and he directed us to Wicked Weed.
Which had a real nice couple beers there.
On the way back; we had a separate cabber guy that we flagged downtown… We were gunna go back to the hotel but olé’ boy directed us to another awesome spot (One World) so we had to go… And we still used them for the eventual ride home.
The bros were super friendly, and very punctual. No negative comments here.

Called the night before to have them take me to the airport in the morning for my flight. After trying to call in the morning when they were late, and getting no one to pick up fortunately I was able to contact another service (checker cab) to pick me up last minute. I’m giving them 2 stars only bc some actually called me 20 minutes after pick up time to tell me they were running late, they still weren’t headed to my place. Definitely wouldn’t use this company if you need to be somewhere on time

Running drugs and stolen hot goods all day and nite from my apartment complex! Have been harassed and threatened but they don’t scare me I’m from NYC lol! Police don’t care but many of us that live here do! Have own connections up north! Yankees won war and will win this war too! Taking life in hands if u get into one of there cabs! Calling me in middle of night, and more! Think there running scarred! I knew this was redneck hillbilly territory but never expected this; if u saw what they looked like the dreaded of the dread you would know immediately! Please read the reviews but just know I have first hand knowledge of this! This is dangerous but they should know they don’t frighten me in the least! Went to school in Harlem and nothing scares me! Will bring them down ! Please don’t use them for u take life in hands; this is real and serious; God bless ! Be safe and not sorry!

First of all, I will say I’m not one to write bad reviews. I’ve never written one before, so that should speak for how bad my experience has been. I have had to use this company two or three times a week since I got my new job and rarely has a morning went by where I haven’t had a problem. Today was the final straw when the dispatcher told me to ‘F*** off’ when I complained about my cab being 20 minutes late. I called for my cab an hour ahead of time to arrive at 10:15, the driver informed me she had told him to arrive at 10:30 (the time I needed to be AT my work). After I got out of work I called to talk to a manager who did absolutely jack shit but try to assure me über is going out of business, deluding himself into thinking his business was safe. It was at this point I decided it was necessary to warn other people about these companies especially those coming from out of town. I warn you that these same people own BLUEBIRD, RED CAB, and BEAVERDAM. They are known for this sort of behavior along with stealing money and things people accidentally leave in cabs. Shady people and bad service to someone who has used their company for years and rarely had a good experience. I wish I could give them less than 1 star. Download UBER it’s much cheaper with better service. People running this cab racket seem pretty intimidated by it, hopefully they will go out of business if enough people bother to read these reviews.

I don’t recommend this company. I called to get a ride down the street to the store, the guy wasn’t late but when he showed up in a huge van (I called yellow cab and they sent a beaver lake cab obviously the same company) anyways the cab smelled very strongly of weed and body odor. The driver was smoking a cigarette (which I’m allergic to, but common courtesy says don’t smoke in a confined space with someone you don’t know) they guy asked me to get cash out instead of paying with my credit card so he waited at the store and even though the car made me terribly sick I still have the guy a tip. I recommend red cab over yellow cab any day of the week.

Probably worst cab ride ever and I travel on business often. Picked up from Springhill suites ¹⁰⁄₁₈ around 8 by driver who didn’t know the area. Took the ‘long way’ to get to our destination according to GPS and the dropped us half a block away. On top of that we had to wait while he called to see if he could take credit card (while he kept the meter running). Rude!

Well i called on a non busy day they said 5 miinutes. After an hour u called another co and they were kind enough to tell me everyone services there csbs on monday and it would take 30 miutes. I walked

I’d advise against using them for rides to the airport. I called the day before my flight date to reserve a cab, figuring that way I’d be assured a timely ride. Not quite. They called me just before my pickup time of 5:15am and said the cab would be 5 minutes late. That was alright– until 30 minutes later when STILL NO CAB. They didn’t even bother to call back. I finally made it to the airport but was way more stress than necessary. Also, the cab smelled like a cheap hotel room. I’ll never ride with these people again.

I love this cab company & frequent them often. Car #20/​George/​Cornbread is my boy. But the dispatch woman late nite sucks. She has an attitude, when u just need to get home, I don’t need an attitude, Just want to get home. I actually cancelled a cab with her to be concideriate and called another cab company. She then, called all the other cabs so I couldn’t get A cab. TOLD THEM NOT 2 PICK ME UP!!! SO I WALKED HOME, 7 BLOCKS (AT NITE, WOMAN BY MYSELF). I HATE THE LADY DISPATCHER OF YELLOW CAB. Igive them so much business & she sucks.

Can driver didn’t know where he was going, drove WAY out of the way, we wouldn’t give him the full amount charged, and he almost killed us when he ran a red light.

Called for a pickup. Dispatcher said fifteen minutes. An hour later I called again — dispatcher didn’t apologize but just said that cab would be there in a few minutes. 15 minutes later, no cab. We decided to drive ourselves instead.

Great cab company. Good conversations with good drivers. Driver 20 is the man, you should ask for him!
