Established in 1991.
Advanced Photo and Imaging has been is Ashland for 23 years. The store opened September 23, 1991 as Picture This! In 2002 the name was changed to Advanced Photo and Imaging. The stores name change reflects our commitment to both current trends in photography as well as rapid advances in the field of digital imaging.
Our retail store and professional photo lab opened as a way of fulfilling the dreams of owner Brent, a passionate photographer since age 12. Brent had always imagined opening a state-of-the-art photo center. Advanced Photo & Imaging is the culmination of that dream.

Advanced Photo & Imaging was opened in the fall of 1991 as a way for owner Brent to continue his lifelong passion for photography .With an extensive backgrounds in both retail and photography it seamed the perfect fit.
With almost 40 years in the photo industry behind him Brent works hard to stay ahead of what is coming next in this ever evolving industry. API was the first store in Oregon to offer digital services and the continues to be on the cutting edge of technology.
Brent is proud not only of the services offered at API but also the way they are offered. With a dedicated staff that share his passion each and every customer is treated as friend (no photo snobs here).
He also makes sure that his staff has only the best state-of-the-art equipment at their disposal. In most cases this gear can only be found in much larger cities.
When it comes to inventory sold at the store Brent hand picks every camera, bag, tripod, memory card or any other item for quality and value.
