Established in 1953.

Cedarlawn Tree has served the Boston MeroWest community since 1953. Cedarlawn is in its second generation of family leadership with our current President & CEO, William Maley. Will serves on the Board of Directors of the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) — Chairman in 2015.

With over 60 years of experience, Cedarlawn is committed to the care and expansion of trees and plant life. We employ 30 full time and year round staff members all of which are highly trained in their fields. Our expert staff includes: Massachusetts Certified Arborists, ISA Certified Arborists, Certified Tree Care Safety Professionals and a group dedicatied to professional growth and development.

Cedarlawn (Bartlett) is one of the best companies I have ever used. They have been doing our extensive arbor work for over 15 years. Recently, I needed emergency snow removal and ice dam remediation! They came the next day. The have the equipment and well trained professional staff. If you need it done right, call Bartlett!

Called Cedarlawn to come remove snow from our roof. They came by quickly and gave us a quote over the phone. We called back the next day and asked that they come remove the snow. That was 2+ weeks ago. Haven’t heard from them since. Very poor customer service. Find someone else to do your jobs for you!

They do more than just trees — they also do a great job of snow removal!
. I was very nervous about the possibility of our skylights caving in on our top floor condo after the great snows of January 2015. I called this company and they sent two guys to our place in Boston (sorry about the parking, guys) the next day to wade through the drifts on our roof deck and shovel them out. They were super fast and total pros. I will be calling them again, definitely, when I need more snow removal done.

My parents were trying to reclaim a large portion of their backyard which has been inundated with poison ivy. I called three tree companies over the weekend and left messages. Of the three, Cedarlawn was the first to call me back (guy named Matt). He was a real smart guy and offered quick service — next day in fact.
All the poison ivy is gone. Mom is happy. I’m happy. Would use them again.

We had a great experience with them! A very large oak tree fell on our house during the hurricane and we didn’t know what to do. When I called Cedarlawn I spoke with Will Maley, and he came over a couple hours later to check out the situation (and set our minds at ease). The crew came over the day after the storm first thing in the morning and did a great job with removing the tree from our house and cleaning up the mess. I would highly recommend them.

I have used Cedarlawn Tree many times in the past and found them very professional and a great company to work with. They even took care of my poison ivy! Bob Dill their Turf Manager is really a gem to work with. They have very qualified certified arborists and I got my quote via email the next morning. I would highly recommend Cedarlawn Tree.

I would not recommend Cedarlawn. I had them do an estimate for two trees at my house. I got 4 estimates. They were the second most expensive, way more than the bottom two. I wasn’t going to go with them. The following Saturday they called and left me a voicemail saying they could do the job on Monday if I wanted. Thought it was a little pushy, but I figuered that is just the world of sales. Then as I was leaving my house Monday morning they show up to do the job. 3 big trucks. I didn’t tell them they had the job, nor did I sign any paperwork. Imagine if I left 5 min earlier and they did the work and tried to bill me.
